“First time in a LONG TIME since we have eaten at Olive Garden. Atmosphere,food,and service were all excellent. LIsa went out of her way to make sure we got extra bread sticks,always hot and fresh from the oven. even extra to take home. AND A FREE TIRAMASUI FOR MY BIRTHDAY. Expect to return often, and always ask for Lisa.“

“I can't lie... I hate burgers. But that was one of the best burgers I've ever had in the city. This is definitely a hole in the wall spot (no seating; order at the window.) I also had the mixed plate and I was floored by the flavors and toppings. I also met Mr. Wiz himself and he smiled during our entire interaction. A very friendly gentleman. “We got to the area around 12:30 on a Saturday and found street parking one block away right away.

The restaurant was not too busy yet. Service was reasonable. Not as great as some reviews mentioned but not bad either.

Some dishes were amazing and others were just ok. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to friends.

Recommended dishes:
Radiatori Vodka - Very flavorful paste.
Potato Croquettes - Perfectly cooked and an amazing combination of flavors.
Jaramisu (Tiramisu in a jar) - Well made with good ingredients.

Dishes I would not get again:
Seafood Fra Diavolo - favor was just ok and it was very salty.
Meatballs al Forno - it just did not stand out for how much it cost.“

The environment and service were both 10/10, and the food was off the charts incredible. *of note: I have issues with gluten and 90% of the menu was already gluten free. The gf pasta and bread options were delicious, and I didn’t feel like the odd one out at any point (because I could eat the same dishes as everyone else with a slight modification)! The team really does make it feel like you’re at a family event. Pizza was hot, fresh ingredients & we ate every single slice. To top it off they graciously added a 2 liter of sprite to our order that we didn't even order & let us use their restroom. That following Sat we decided to try something different on the menu & we still were more than happy. The small calzone was HUGE and full of ingredients but not too much. The cheesesteak hoagie was a great portion too. 4 people ate just those 2 things and we all we FULL! And again we were offered a free soda. “Solid night at Frankies — the kind of place that earns a return visit before you’ve even finished dinner.

Started with the pizza bianca with whipped ricotta and local honey — simple, well-executed, great opener. Followed that up with a mortadella and pecorino plate and a Caesar salad, both on point — the Caesar in particular was the best I’ve had. For the main, the cavatelli with hot sausage and browned sage butter was the standout — perfectly cooked, rich, and packed with flavor.

The wine list is exceptional. Our bartender Talon steered us in exactly the right direction, and his recommendation paired perfectly with the meal. For dessert, the tiramisu was classic and spot-on. Talon then surprised us with a slice of chocolate tart, fresh whipped cream, and a candle for my birthday — a genuinely thoughtful touch. That kind of warm, attentive service is rare.

If you want big-box chain Italian, head to West End. If you want chef-driven, rustic Italian done right, make Frankies a priority. We’ll be back.💯🇮🇹“

“I was born and raised in Sicily, and I can confidently say that Tutti Da Gio is the most authentic Italian (Sicilian) food I’ve ever had here. The freshness of each ingredient is on another level. If you want to have a taste of Italy, come here. Plus, it’s a family owned business and their story is inspiring. Each dish is made with love (the one that makes our cuisine and culture unique).
