“We have enjoyed Newk’s at The Avenue in Murfreesboro since they opened. Great food and a nice atmosphere. However, it’s time to remodel the bathrooms or at the very least a deep detailed clean and some repairs. They are absolutely disgusting and have been for years. I remember when those bathrooms were brand new and they were actually very nice bathrooms. The lack of attention to these bathrooms makes you wonder what other cleaning they are cutting corners on.“

“Penne Pazze has become one of my favorite spots. We found it on a seed oil free app and decided to try it out. We come at least once a week now. All the dishes have lots of flavor. The Honey Pepperoni Pinsa is my go-to for a quick bite. I haven't met everyone but I can say Riccardo, Luke, Adalyn and Maddie have made my experience at Penne Pazze top tier every time. It's easy to order with the QR code at the table and I am never left waiting for my tab because I can close it out at my convenience. My favorite place to sit is at the bar. It's a front row seat to all the action going on in the kitchen. It is a casual and fun atmosphere with delicious food. I’m so glad we found it.“

The same exact service - I’m highly impressed . Phillip the owner introduced himself I can tell he loves his staff and his restaurant by the way he speaks of it . “Run to Cava on South Church St. in Murfreesboro to see KEYAJIA LAY! She was a pleasure to talk to while figuring out what I liked on my bowl. Normally my bowl feels empty and I don't feel satisfied bc I feel rushed but she took her time and I will say this is the best bowl I have had. I could not top her bc they do not take tips but this review I pray gives her notoriety for her exceptional customer service as well as a bonus or a raise. Some people may say it's just a bowl, but I literally did not want to waste my money on getting something that I didn't feel that would be fulfilling But the overall experience Was satisfying and will worth the money! “We ordered the whipped feta and honey appetizer and I got the quinoa bowl with grilled veggies and grilled lamb. I was able to add on a side of grilled shrimp. I am glad I did cause that shrimp was delicious. The quinoa and lamb were good. The grilled veggies had a tart dressing that I wasn’t to thrilled about. The whipped feta is delicious with the baked pita chips. The overall experience was great though. I enjoyed my plate and the ladies at the counter were very friendly.“

“This place is always clean, everyone who works there is very helpful..
All the ingredients, fresh.. from the strawberries, to all their pizza toppings. My only request would be.. add some shredded cheddar. Maybe others do not like some cheddar on their pizza, but.. I know quite a few people who do. :)

“We were looking forward to eating at Hank's because of the reviews, but unfortunately our experience wasn't a good one. there were three of us and all three meals were disappointing. My husband ordered a BLT that definitely was nothing special. it was a very small sandwich with little substance. He did say they onion rings were good. I ordered a cheeseburger well done with mayo, hold the bbq sauce, and french fries. My burger came with no cheese, no mayo, no lettuce or tomato. When I brought it to the server's attention she went and got a slice of cheese from the kitchen and brought it to me on a plate along with a little cup of mayo. The cheese had obviously come out of the cooler. After taking a couple of bites I realized that the burger was very pink inside, almost raw. Again, I told our server and she apologized and offered to have another one made. I declined. I do have to say they have really good french fries. My son ordered the special, pulled pork nachos. my husband was almost done with his meal by the time they arrived and I had stopped eating mine. The nachos came with burnt chips and a glow of lettuce, salsa and sour cream and very little pulled pork. It was so unappetizing to look at. My son ate a few bites and I ate some but between the two of us we did not finish it, it wasn't a large plate to begin with. We will not be going back and we won't be recommending Hank's unfortunately even though we were given a discount. I'm unable to add photos or I would, I put them in the comments.“

What started as a simple family dinner quickly turned into an experience we’ll be talking about for a long time, and that is largely because of our incredible server, Shawna.

Shawna didn’t just serve our table, she genuinely cared for us. Her kindness felt natural and sincere, not rushed or routine, even in the middle of what was clearly a very busy evening. She took the time to walk us through the menu with thoughtful suggestions, helping us confidently choose dishes that ended up being absolutely perfect for our family. It wasn’t just about taking an order, it felt like she was helping us create a great experience.

What truly stood out was her attentiveness. Shawna seemed to anticipate our needs before we even realized them ourselves. Drinks were refreshed right on time, extra items appeared just when we needed them, and everything flowed so smoothly that we were able to fully relax and enjoy each other’s company. That kind of service is rare, especially on a night as busy as Good Friday.

And then came dessert, her recommendations were nothing short of incredible. Each one was better than the last, and it turned what could have been the end of a meal into one of the most enjoyable highlights of the night. We found ourselves lingering longer, savoring every bite and every moment.

Beyond Shawna, the entire team contributed to such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hostess staff greeted us with genuine friendliness that set the tone right away, and the manager and team worked together so seamlessly that it was honestly impressive to watch. Even from our table, you could feel the strong sense of teamwork and pride in what they do. The kitchen absolutely delivered as well, every dish was prepared beautifully and tasted fantastic.

Most importantly, this dinner was a birthday celebration for our family, and thanks to Shawna and the entire Olive Garden team, it became so much more than just a meal. It felt meaningful, joyful, and truly special, exactly the kind of experience you hope for but don’t always find.

We left feeling grateful, taken care of, and already hoping that the next time we visit, we’ll be lucky enough to have Shawna as our server again. Experiences like this are what keep people coming back, and we will absolutely be back.

“Food was good but they had the ice cream machine torn down and that's a big reason we go there and they didn't offer anything to replace it and it cost over $40 for two salads which we think is high 😔 especially when you can't get ice cream, oh did I mention they were tearing down the ice cream machine 30 minutes before they closed and that's just not right, they should wait until all customers are gone.“

This is however one of the busier places in the 'Boro to go for fast food, so keep that in mind.
