“We have enjoyed Newk’s at The Avenue in Murfreesboro since they opened. Great food and a nice atmosphere. However, it’s time to remodel the bathrooms or at the very least a deep detailed clean and some repairs. They are absolutely disgusting and have been for years. I remember when those bathrooms were brand new and they were actually very nice bathrooms. The lack of attention to these bathrooms makes you wonder what other cleaning they are cutting corners on.“

“Food is great but I get really disappointed when the sauces never taste the same.. I get one that I love and then a few days or week later I’ll get it again and it’s disgusting. The avocado sauce was to die for a couple weeks ago, got it the other night it didn’t taste like avocado and veryyyyy lime tasting. If they’re in house then have people follow a recipe to make sure it tastes the same every time.. other than that, food is great!“

“I went on a monday 11/11 when the only server was a young lady with brown hair. There was a large group that had come in, along with several other families. The server was still awesome. Obviously, it took a little longer than it would have if there were enough servers, but she did a great job. The atmosphere was unappealing. I know you are called rock n roll sushi so I understand music being played, but it was so loud. So so loud. The seaweed salad and the sweet home Alabama roll were delicious. The baked volcano roll was not good.“

Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro, TN. I was just highly impressed and amazed at this very polite and bright young female supervisor named Chloe last week on duty who came up front from her position to listen to my complaint from a takeout order called a Ranchero Chicken wrap sandwich from the day before. The portion wasn't what I had expected when I returned home and opened the carryout bag that day. That was my mistake by not checking before I left the restaurant. So, this is when the unsatisfactory experience turned out to be a great person to person experience with Chloe. She personally went back and made the most deliciously and perfect chicken wrap sandwich for me. Thanks Chloe for making me a happy customer. You're absolutely Amazing.“

“We went to Newk's for lunch to use a gift card from Christmas ?. There was plenty of seating. It was relatively quiet so conversation was easy. We used our Newk's app to order. The food came quickly and was fresh. I had the Portobello mushroom sandwich and a small Greek salad. The sandwich is one of my favorites. I wasn't crazy about the salad. The soup was very good. Ironically my sister did not care for her blue cheese salad either. I also get the spicy shrimp pizza which is another of my favorites. The green goddess salad was good. Overall a good place to pick up lunch and spend time with friends and family in a casual dining atmosphere.“

“I ordered here for the first time on Halloween. The store was so busy, but all of the employees were furiously working to get all the orders out. The 3 teenagers in the front never stopped working, which is so different then most places nowadays. I never once saw any of them pull out their phone. Customers were getting upset about the long wait times and the employees all stayed calm and worked hard. The pizza was hot, fast and delicious. I was very impressed! Way to go crew!“

“cook times. season the oxtails. have sour cream for the fries with the works. have the chicken and dumplings if they are on the menu. don't let the drinks get watered down if the customer is waiting an hour for the food to be brought out. have multiple waiters or waitresses. if I ask for water with NO lemon, please don't bring me water with lemon. if the meal comes with a roll, please bring the roll with the meal. and if you're going to have me wait an hour for my order please don't let my sprite get watered down. hubby said the burger was salty. I didn't even try it. we will NOT be back. other establishments have way better service, cook times, and tastier food.“
