“Chicken Chimichanga is the dish I order most often from El Aguaje; the variety of toppings never fail to satisfy my tastes.Though I mostly order take-out, the wait staff inside the restaurant is very welcoming and family-friendly, and the atmosphere is rich with plenty nods to Mesoamerican heritage in the interior design. As it is situated in the corner of a U-Haul parking lot, the location could be considered a bit of an eyesore, but they continue to have a thriving business alongside the neighboring events center, and the same disadvantage could be noted for most of the establishments in the Gallatin Pike/Rivergate area.“
“This is the first one I ever been to Avo in over 7 years. I had a late lunch with a friend who is vegan and I did not know they were no longer raw vegan. She had the Nachos which were piled high and she liked them. I ordered the vegan cheese plate to share and the seasonal pot pie. Noah was the chef that day and he put his foot in it on Friday! My friend had to thank him and let him know how well he did. The pot pie had sweet potatoes on it which I was not expecting because it was a little too sweet for me BUT I had leftovers and it tasted better the next day! Fury was our waitress and she was so fun and attentive! She was down for our respectful shenanigans. The place is casual and designed like most places modern causal places. Honestly the food was great pizza and wings were delicious, the orange wheat beer very good flavor BUT; THE CUSTOMERS SERVICE WAS NOT THE BEST. Hannah need more training in customer service Hannah is not attentive, she did not offer us enamelware. I spent 40 dollars for a good service but, she is rude, she has a bad attitude, she was never friendly, never smile and she got upset because I asked for enamelware, she wanted me to supplicated her to give me enamelware. I was not happy with her attitude and asked her to call the manager then she told me that was a baby. Recommendation they should train their employees better to provide good service. He not only is an exceptional employee but he also goes above and beyond for his customers and I could tell with each interaction with him. Today I had made a order and it had went through doordash where the dasher had given me the wrong order. A lot of miscommunication had happened before he arrived at the store and after 30 minutes had went by, I called again and Billy had answered. He was very swift and kind, as well as patient and diligent. He had contacted Doordash for me to receive my correct order and he not o my made sure to give me a refund but also gave me a fresh bowl for my inconvenience. I was very pleased with how he confronted the situation and how well he communicated through this situation. The food was still hot, when I arrived home, unfortunately one of the dishes was prepared incorrectly.I called the restaurant and let them know there was an error. They apologized and stated they would correct their mistake. Thankfully, I only live about 10 minutes from the restaurant, so I agreed to return and retrieve the corrected dish, which, unfortunately, resulted in my food being lukewarm when I returned home. Thank goodness pasta & lasagna reheats well, lol!!“
