Not sure where the bad reviews are coming from, but my husband and I came here tonight and it was excellent! It was super warm, cozy and delicious! I had the Lasagna and it was so good! Definitely don’t skip out on the dessert— the Lemon Mascarpone and Cannoli were so good! We will definitely be back!
My wife and I decided to try Trattoria La Caverna. We like authentic Italian restaurants offering homemade items instead of larger chains. We live in West Gallatin, so Hendersonville is close. I had the homemade Nonna's lasagna with a homemade meatball, and my wife had the Cavatappi Cassie, a pasta dish with a white wine cream sauce. Each comes with a small side salad. I had the Caesar salad, and my wife had the balsamic salad. Everything was great! It's hard to find...
I can’t say enough good things about this place. It is my favorite local spot here in Hendersonville. The staff is all so wonderful. Lyndsea, Mak, and Phoebe always take the best care of us every time we go. The food is spectacular (ask about the specials. They’re always amazing), the drinks are delicious, and the desserts will change your life. The owner is so sweet and you can definitely tell that she loves this place. Definitely give it a shot! You won’t be disappointed.
