There are 2 Casa Vieja restaurants in Hendersonville- this review is for the one on Anderson. We visited for a meal before going to the movie theater located not far away. Margarita's were generous and delicious even with well Tequila. The menu seems quite complete for all the Mexican favorites you might be seeking. We got a super-sized burrito and a chicken enchilada plate. Both were well-prepared and delicious. Some Mexican places serve rice that is kind of hard and crusty, probably because the scrape food out from the bottom of the pot. Casa Vieja's rice was supple and really good, as were the refried beans.
Atmosphere is really nice- huge dining room decorated with attractive Mexican furnishings. Good, solid, Mexican restaurant.

This place is amazing. From the host and hostess to our waiter who was so friendly and funny. We were celebrating our friends birthday. Service was fast and the food was delicious. Mine and my husband's first time there and we will be back. The whole restaurant only with the staff sang to our friend. Casa Viego you all are the real

While vacationing in Hendersonville Tn 3 times a year our one favorite place to eat is Casa Vieja. I’m a little surprised that I’m writing this review as we always received great service. My wife & I away sit at the bar we understand the bartender is multi tasking this time was different. We sat down watch the bartender service the guest next to us and walk away comes back makes drinks again walks away then comes back to service the same guest and forgot about us no menus. Not sure what happened but did notice it was the same employees for the last couple of years. This was unacceptable.

Used to be great, now it's crap... Very empty on a Friday. Wife and I ordered and my food showed up but took another 10 minutes for hers, not that anyone noticed until we signaled across the empty room to the group of servers gathered in the hall telling jokes!! No apology or anything, just you get hot food and the other doesn't. It is also worth noting, happy hour is only 3 days a week?? maybe why we didn't leave happy... I'm kidding, it was the horrible service/ experience, thanks casa.
