i have been coming to casa vieja since about 2010. my best friend and i have been coming every sunday for months with our 2 daughters. this past sunday our server was SO RUDE. miscommunication in ordering and they brought out an extra cheese quesadilla. i told them i only needed one and apologized for the inconvenience. the server then came back to the table with the food and aggressively told me how i was wrong and that’s what i ordered. i told him again i am sorry it was a mistake and he harassed me even more about it being my fault. was in my face arguing in front of my young daughter over 1 cheese quesadilla! im a bartender and ive been in the service industry for 15 years. i was stunned at how he was speaking to me. i asked for a manger and was told there was no manager there. told the guy up front my experience and his response was “he is new”. i wasn’t expecting anything but to be completely disregarded was surprising. i don’t know his name, but that experience alone i will not be coming back to casa vieja. do better.

Service was fast and very good. The restaurant was clean and the prices were great. The food was just okay. The beef was very basic, VERY bland. The rice, however, was delicious. They didn't get my order correct. I ordered a beef taco and a chicken enchilada and I received both with beef. I didn't send it back for correction, however, it was correct on the receipt, so the error was the kitchen's. I wouldn't refuse to return, however, I won't make it a point to and I likely will not.

Casa Vieja is like a second home to our family. We look forward to costing weekly and the entire team here is amazing. Best Mexican food in Hendersonville!
Jaime (J.D.) was amazing, kind as can be and extremely attentive! Great food and we were a party of 5 so many dishes were ordered and everyone was very happy. Atmosphere was great, the woodworking and decorating is beautiful. We came from Chicago so we are very picky!

They are always checking on you to make sure you are ok and don’t need anything. And they are always so friendly to everyone I will always continue going there to eat and the Manager is the best he is always so helpful and will help out him employees when there are not enough staff work

The service is great, the food on the other hand, is hot garbage. Got a combo that was 1 taco 1 burrito 1 enchilada. If you’ve ever remotely had authentic Mexican food. Run. All three were beef and the beef was this minced cat food looking substance that tasted like fibrous tap water. The burrito and the enchilada were both filled end to end with only this pseudo beef insulation. And the only thing that made them different was that one had a corn tortilla and one had flour. At least it wasn’t super expensive and they couldn’t possibly screw up tequila. I would go to casa Roja in Gallatin or California taco in Hendersonville, hell even Taco Bell down the street.
