El Trompo Taco Shop

Still my very favorite place for authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Margaritas are great and service is always excellent! Atmosphere is nothing fancy but is bright, clean and comfortable. Do yourself a favor and try it if you haven’t.

How did I not know about this place. The food was excellent! Everything was fresh and made to order. Very authentic and the service was great.YouI have several choices for Mexican food but you must give El Trompo taco shop a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Whatever you do, do NOT order the CHILAQUILES MEXICANOS. Complete trash and such a waste of money. The burritos were gross (mostly filled with onions), bland rice, and the quesadillas were the thinnest I’ve ever seen. The horchata tastes like a powdered mix. Although the staff was friendly I can’t say the food was good,

We ordered the chilaquiles and street tacos. The green sauce while it was flavorful and the carne asada seasoned well. The rice and beans were lacking. The rice tasted a day old and bland. The beans also bland and needed more seasoning. As for the al pastor tacos there was a good char on the meat and flavoring. The pastor was not from a trompo. The business name is misleading as they advertise it all over their menu. The tacos needed the addition of pineapple to enhance the overall flavor of the meat. The tortillas I wished had a little char/crisp to add texture to the taco.

Nothing but racism

I eat here almost every day. They got the best tacos in town. The employees are very friendly and they already know exactly what I want when I walk in with every detail. I wont ever go anywhere else as when I come here it feels like coming home. I would recommend to everyone to try at least once

This place is super authentic and definitely has the best tacos in the area. Nothing beats the tacos de al pastor, tripa, y chorizo. Samuel is the man and makes a mean guacamole, too! 10/10 would recommend.??

For all Mexicans in the area ---> El Trompo Taco shop is highly recommended! ???The tacos are authentic and not grindas. Samuel is super attentive and chilango?. The guacamole is also great. I will return every time I am in Hendersonville.
