The service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. The portion sizes are also just right.
However, the flavor of the food was a bit disappointing. Since the fish seem to be raised indoors, there was a slight fishy or muddy smell.
It’s a nice place where you can enjoy warm and friendly service at a fair price, but unfortunately, the taste didn’t quite meet my expectations.

I didn’t think I would find a good sushi place in Lebanon TN of all places, but here we are! The sushi was very good - I can’t recommend the Red Spider Roll enough! I could eat probably 10 of them in one sitting.

I was coming in from Chattanooga this place was recommended by a local. It did not disappoint this was the best sushi I've had in a year! Tucked away in a strip mall like you would suspect. Spot on!

The chicken teriyaki had no flavor. Idk where the teriyaki was? I’m sure you can tell by the chicken in my photo. But the food and service were ehh. Wasn’t a fan of how the owner or manager was just standing around and bossing the server around. Pointing at waters or plates that needed to go out. Like anyone can bring out a plate or some water.. It was causing the service to go much slower.
But the food was okay I could’ve made better at home. Also could’ve had better sushi from Kroger or somewhere else.

Been coming to Hana for years and whether we dine in or take out its always fantastic. While other sushi restaurants in hendersonville have gone down hill over the years Hana has never disappointed

Legit good sushi place. They even use real green tea, none of that bagged stuff.

Very small sushi and lack of flavor. Maru sushi is much better.

If tonight is the new norm, HANA has gone down hill. Tonight the Albacore was just off and looked bad, not appetizing like usual. House salad was just lettuce and dressing. Side of beef teriyaki looked very unappealing. Beef was cut tiny. It was dry. It tasted like Salisbury steak not teriyaki. Their teriyaki was not in anyway teriyaki.
The manager said the kitchen staff was all that changed. We m8ssed the old kitchen staff and sushi chef.
We used to go very often. Hana was our little special local sushi place. Our little hidden gem. The food used to be better than some more upscale sushi joints in Nashville. This is very sad.

This was my first time trying Hana Sushi. I had a long lunch break in a town I hadn’t been to before, so I decided to check it out. The food was really good. I only ordered a drink, miso soup, and one roll. The service wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t particularly friendly either.
I decided to pay in cash to make things easier. I had almost the exact amount—just a penny over. I’m not sure if the waitress assumed I wasn’t going to tip because, after I paid, I politely told her, while still digging through my wallet, “Don’t worry about the penny,” with a smile and everything.
I found the money I was going to leave as a tip, which was well over 25% gratuity. But as I was looking down to get it out, she didn’t say another word to me. Instead, she slammed the register drawer shut and walked off. That definitely changed my experience, so I put the tip money back and left.

Ordered online and had it delivered. Ordered chirashi bowl and a seaweed salad. The portions were fine but the sushi quality was just ok. I could tell the fish was dyed to enhance the color and the tuna was not cut properly (still stuck together and not cut clean through). The sashimi rice was fine but had the seasonings for it piled on just in the middle of the rice, not sprinkled throughout. Also weird that the garnish was Italian parsley. Not enough Wasabi or ginger (also heavily dyed).
Seaweed salad was fine but made to look larger than it really was by adding way too much cucumber underneath. It also looked like the cores of cucumbers that were used to make the cucumber strings for the sushi which I thought was odd.
