Great food, absolute love this spot! So much has improved since they got Chris as a store manager. Mary also needs a call out, her customer service and attitude are always something we look forward to!

We had a terrible experience eating here for the first time. The beef bulgogi was really disappointed! They call bulgogi but wasn't real! I eat a lot of Korean grill but this restaurant not authentic Korean grill at all!!
The price very high for quality of meat non excited. ?

Literally the BEST eating experience ever. The meats were all so divine. Everything was high quality for a price that wasn't unreasonable. Our waiter tonight was incredible too. Definitely coming back here!!!

It was a special day when we visited J Street Korean Bar & Grill.
We had the lunch menu. First round included spicy pork, non-spicy pork with sides of bibimbap, lettuce wrap, and kitchen.
Everything tasted great.

Second round was an order of Hawaiian beef with a side of pork dumplings. Pork dumplings was served fresh off the pan. It was still hot.

We couldn't order anything more after that. We were full.

The meat and sides were fresh.

They gave us vanilla ice cream, too. Because it was a birthday lunch, Mary, our server, surprised us with a slice of cheese cake. That was really beautiful gesture. Appreciate that!

Service by Mary was superb.

The place is huge but it was lunch time so it was not yet packed.

This place needs to be visited more. I'd say, value for money is 5 stars because we would hvar paid the same amount for a lunch meal of two people in other restaurants.

Thank you, Mary, for a memorable celebration.

Shout out to the guy who was at the reception (and took us to our table).

We ate at J Street for the first time tonight, and we loved it! This was a fun experience with good quality food. It’s definitely worth the price. They told us they were short staffed when we got there, but we wouldn’t have known if they hadn’t told us. The service was great and we had more food than we could eat. Definitely recommend!

Super cool, you cook your own meats and sides come prepared. Food is great! Consistent across the board, fried chicken and chicken bulgogi were some favorites.

Bella provided incredible service - very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. 10/10 recommend!

Korean BBQ spot in hendersonville
I recently had the opportunity to try out a new Korean BBQ restaurant in town, we went for my sons 20th birthday.
While the concept of cooking your own food at the table is always fun, my experience here lete know when cooking your own food at these places make sure they're following correct pan and utensil changes, for cleanliness and so your food isn't burned to cooking pan.
The food itself was quite good, with flavorful marinades on the steak, pork, and chicken. The sides were also delicious, especially the crispy chicken and cucumber kimchi. However, there were a few hiccups during my visit.
Unfortunately, a portion of my meat ended up being burned, likely due to the waitress not using a nonstick surface when swapping out the cooking hotplate. This resulted in unevenly cooked meat, which was a bit disappointing.
Additionally, I was surprised that it took so long for the server to bring me new utensils after I requested them. It's a small detail, but it can make a big difference in the overall dining experience.
Despite these minor issues, I did enjoy the atmospheric view and the fact that they were playing a football game on all the screens. If you're a sports fan, this restaurant might be a great spot to catch a game while enjoying some delicious Korean food.
Overall, my experience at this new Korean BBQ restaurant was decent, but it wasn't perfect. I would be willing to give it another try in the future, hoping that the service and cooking techniques will improve.

Vegetarian options: They have an array of side that are all vegan friendly. if you're want vegan optionsbthis place would be good to try.

Don’t sleep on this spot!! Been 3 times in last 2 months for lunch service, Lindsay taken incredible care of us, explained many of the menu items. What a cool atmosphere tucked in by the Hobby Lobby you’ll find an All u can eat, cook at your table feast. The soup is enough alone to check this place out, all the meat offerings are excellently seasoned and did I mention all u can eat! Bring a buddy and tell a friend !

Went with a group of 7, including 2 little ones. There was options for everyone, and no one left hungry. Great service and atmosphere. Also, they have the biggest tv I've seen in a restaurant. Perfect for sports nights.

Decided to try this place out for my birthday dinner, and was absolutely wowed. The meats were all of superb quality, and the seasonings on them were delicious. And unlike some all you can eat places, rather than bringing you a little bit at a time and hoping you get bored or full on very little, they bring a heaping portion out every time. The sides were phenomenal as well: amazing fried chicken that was crispy on the outside yet still juicy and sweet on the inside, fantastic pork dumplings that were nearly all pork instead of a bunch of filler, and one of the best and most unique potato salads I've ever had. The sweet and spicy rice cakes were good too, but I can't really describe them. Very dense and gooey, but in a good way. When I first got there, I had to ask about the rice cakes and the fried chicken, because the online menu shows them, but the menu on the table doesn't. Apparently the menu got a new design that accidentally left them off, they're still available.

All of the staff was friendly, patient with our long list of questions since we had never been to Korean BBQ before, and bent over backwards to meet our needs. They were promptly attentive about getting more food and refilling drinks, without being intrusive or constantly hovering over us. Just all around nice people who were clearly happy to have us there.

Another plus, no obnoxiously loud music blaring in your ear while you are trying to have a conversation.

All in all, one of the best birthday dinners I've ever had, and I can't recommend this place enough.

Dietary restrictions: We had a member of our party that can't eat onions or garlic, and our server was happy to answer our questions about different food items and ask the kitchen about anything she wasn't sure of. Our sensitive member ended up getting plenty to eat without encountering a single problem.
