Maru Iyagi - Hendersonville

I travel all over the country transporting items and like trying new places. You don't walk away when I am in the middle of ordering my food wich is why I didn't tip and only ordered my 1st to items. The yellow tail was good portions and flavor but should have been colder. The seaweed salad was good.

The pork katsu curry was amazing!!!
And the clean grilled chicken teriyaki if you can't eat sauces.

This is our favorite sushi restaurant in Tennessee. If we're getting sushi, it's here. Everybody is always so kind, and Hazel in particular is excellent.

Absolutely amazing. I eat sushi very often and this place is by far the best around. When you get your sushi you can tell they really care about presentation and quality. Most sushi places you go to they don’t really even care that you’re a paying customer

Our family L-O-V-E-S Maru Ichi (formerly Maru Iyagi)! We always have a great experience dining in or ordering to go. The food is delicious and fresh; and if you love salmon, I recommend ordering the Salmon Lover roll. If sushi is not your thing they have wonderful alternatives like their chicken fried rice! Honestly the best fried rice I've ever had (don't forget to ask for a side of yum yum sauce!).

The food was outstanding! So much thought and detail went into each plate and the fish tasted like it was caught hours before it was on our plate. We’ll definitely be back!

The price hike is crazy..

Excellent sushi at a great price. Service was slow, but it was pretty busy. So I'll give a pass for that. Menu was a bit overwhelming, we were given 3 different menus when we were seated. Literally took like 15 minutes just to look it all over. Overall a good experience and meal.

I watched a guy come out of the kitchen with his plastic gloves on, go into the bathroom and then come out of the bathroom with the same gloves on and walk back into the kitchen.

Take that as you want, I'll never be back.

My friends and I came here a few days ago and the food was so good! The sushi chefs knew what they were doing and the customer service was outstanding. The servers came out with our food fast and we were treated well! Definitely coming back here again!

I've been coming to this restaurant for years, but since the ownership has changed, I have not had great experiences. My family and I had a large party, but that still is not a fair excuse. Myself and 6 other people ordered sushi. The sushi for the 5 other people came well after the other entrees showed up, but mine was not there. I said that my 2 rolls were missing and it was still another half hour before my rolls showed up. Who I assume was the manager came over and basically told me that I ordered my rolls after everyone so that's why they came after, which isn't true. I have no problem with mistakes being made, but I was blamed for them not including everything and nothing was offered to be taken off the receipt. I'll be checking out other places in Hendersonville for a while.
