Mojo Cookie Dough and Creamery

We booked MOJO Creamery for a work event and paid a $500 deposit to confirm. When booking, I explained the headcount wasn’t finalized (around 100 guests, possibly more or less), and Brooks agreed we’d pay the remaining balance after the event once final attendance was confirmed.

The morning of the event, he called requesting an additional $100 because the address was farther than he expected and our gravel driveway was bumpy. I agreed to the additional fee, but he also pushed for the full remaining balance to be paid before the event. I reminded him of our agreement to settle up after, and he agreed and said he would send the invoice afterward.

Minutes after the event ended, he started texting me repeatedly insisting I pay immediately and that it had to be done that day, sending back-to-back messages. I explained it was a Saturday and I would process payment that evening when I returned to my desk. I also received multiple complaints that he was rude to our guests.

Overall, the communication and professionalism were very disappointing. We will not be using MOJO Creamery again.

Found this truck on July 4th! Awesome dessert! I stuffed my face with the generous portion and toppings. People were asking me where I got my dessert. What an amazing treat.

Definitely recommend this vendor for your private event! We hired him for our wedding and got access to his entire menu and personalized menu items for bride and groom. The portion sizes were huge which definitely made the cost worth it! Not super expensive for the service and very friendly!

My family and I are only in Nashville once a year for the regatta, so I’ve only seen this food truck twice. Both times have been a great experience. Very generous servings and the guy (Brooks) and the female were both very nice. My oldest was looking forward to getting ice cream from this food truck all day.

We do not recommend hiring this vendor for private events. He required a deposit upfront, which we paid, and we had clear written agreement on the event times. He arrived almost late just as the event began yet immediately began complaining that guests weren’t lining up quickly enough and made negative comments to other vendors and attendees. His behavior was unprofessional and inappropriate for a company appreciation event to say the least. To make matters worse, he left an hour early without serving everyone, despite being paid in full. The manner to which he departed without even communicating and the aggressive manner he did so made it a very disappointing experience.

Please avoid using him for your events. We hired him for our community grand opening and agreed on a price and number of ice creams weeks in advance, but he repeatedly forgot and changed pricing each time we spoke. He arrived late and refused to park in the designated area we had arranged. The ice cream he served was messy, and he was rude to our guests.

Our event ended at 4 PM, but at 3:55 PM we still had two customers in line—he shut the door on them and drove off. He had promised that any leftover ice cream we paid for would be provided to us, but he left without honoring this commitment. Attempts to follow up with him afterward were unsuccessful, as he ignored all communication.

This was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had with a vendor.

Never got to enjoy the ice cream my self being the bride and trying to talk to everyone. So many people came up to me saying how amazing the desert truck was and how much they loved it. This desert truck is perfect for any of your events.

We will not be booking this food check again in the future. We booked for a staff event and we’re charged $10 per person for mediocre ice cream. The pictures on the website are deceiving and not appropriate to the portion sizes we received. The owner was also rude at times and very rude to his employee. We did however, book last minute, so we were thankful he was available, but based on the service we received, we will not book again in the future.

The low rating is mostly for the food truck driver vs their ice cream. I watched the driver honk his horn repeatedly and yell at rowers to move out of the way. The rowers carrying boats in the parking lot to get down to the docks. They were walking exactly on the path designated for them. The Mojo driver was so rude. He was very late to setup at the Regatta so was likely in a rush. Our kids did have the ice cream and enjoyed it but most people that ordered were only given 1 cookie instead of the 2 that you pay for. I wouldn’t recommend this business.

Today we hosted our Nissan Quality Event at our headquarters in Franklin TN and hired the Mojo Ice Cream truck to serve our visitors. Brook and his team did such a great job serving everyone quickly and everybody loved the cookies and ice cream! Brook was so great to work with in all aspects of the process from the bidding process to the last customer was served and even texting afterwards to make sure everyone was happy! His product is fantastic and his customer service is even better! I highly recommend hiring them for your next event!
