I stumbled upon this place after taking a friend to a thrift shop nearby. I hadn't really spent much time in the area and was looking for somewhere to grab lunch that wasn't a fast food joint or a chain. You could almost miss this place because it's so unassuming. I didn't get to meet Jolly St. Nick himself but I certainly met the best Muffuletta I have ever consumed! If you've been searching for a real deli (as in NY), you should give this quaint place a try. Lots of room to move around if your transportation involves walkers or wheel chairs. Love the background recorded piano music. I stopped by Nick’s Deli in Hixson and grabbed a roast beef and pastrami sandwich to go—and WOW. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly stacked.
