My daughter surprised me with an order of absolutely amazing pork ribs!!! They were the best ribs I’ve ever eaten!! They were extremely succulent, flavorful and fell off the bone as soon as I picked up one!! I’m excited to try every menu item!! I’m so glad Wholly Cow Barbecue is located in Downtown Jackson!!
Fantastic food and wonderful people. The Brisket is really nice with an excellent bark and the fat just disintegrates in your mouth, giving a beautiful silky texture and rich flavor.
The Turkey, though... I can't say enough good things. Especially fresh right after he's sliced it. Some of the juciest, most flavorful, and delicious turkey I've ever tasted. I've been back for another visit and confirmed that it was not a fluke, the turkey really is THAT good!

Everything was exceptional. The food was delicious!! We ordered the walk-in platter I believe that’s what it was called and the smokiness and flavor of everything was perfection. Brisket, ribs, turkey, pulled pork, and baked beans were absolutely phenomenal. The staff are always so pleasant and smiling. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back again!!

Wholly Cow Barbecue is located in Downtown Jackson and serves fantastic food with wonderful people. The pork ribs are extremely succulent, flavorful and fall off the bone. The Brisket is really nice with an excellent bark and the fat just disintegrates in your mouth, giving a beautiful silky texture and rich flavor. The Turkey is some of the juciest, most flavorful, and delicious turkey, especially fresh right after it is sliced. The smoked mac & cheese is INCREDIBLY rich and incredibly delicious. The walk-in platter includes Brisket, ribs, turkey, pulled pork, and baked beans that are absolutely phenomenal. The Texas Tennessee BBQ is amazing, and the house made cheddar jalapeno bread for the Sammys is beyond amazing. The Sammys are plentiful. The brisket with slaw and homemade sweet heat BBQ sauce is recommended. The food is amazing and the owners are very friendly. The quality of food, service and family oriented style is appreciated. This is a favorite BBQ in TN. The staff are always so pleasant and smiling. Highly recommend a visit, especially if out to visit the farmers market on a Saturday morning.
