I had a great salad to start. The bangers and mash had a great that didn't taste good to me at all, but that's just me. The waitress/hostess was great. The place had a slightly musty smell at first that i must have gotten used to. Someone may want to look into it, though.
The old china buffet building has received a much needed update to this beautiful little restaurant called mug and masons the restaurant is decorated beautifully with lovely music and service is wonderful. The food is different from other Jefferson City offerings. The food is beautiful and tasty

The farmers hash is good. I enjoyed the variety of veggies and the smallish size they were diced into. One of the poached eggs was extremely overcooked (solid yellow inside) and neither was runny, which was disappointing. The sourdough is just some store bought texas toast type stuff, definitely not high quality sourdough made in house. The service took much longer than expected; we were told 10 minutes and it was 30, and no one came to greet us the entire time we waited those...
