The Hoagie Shop

Run by mostly young people who have great difficulty listening and seem more interested in laughing and talking with each other than in taking and preparing orders. They got my order completely wrong, and, after having to drive back to the shop, I had to repeat what I wanted four times for the young man in front and the kids in the back. In fact, if I hadn’t been listening to them telling each other what was supposed to go on the sandwich, they would have gotten it wrong again. After they were finally clear on just what it was I wanted, it took a further 10 minutes to put together a sandwich.

My husband and I stopped in here today on our way to the UT game. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, the food was so fresh and delicious and the atmosphere was perfect! I had a Reuben and he had steak and cheese. Such a cute little sandwich shop. We will definitely be back!!

The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I ordered the combination sub, comes with two meats(I ordered turkey and salami)lettuce, tomatoes green pepper, onions and Swiss cheese. I requested extra lettuce, and pepper jack cheese instead. However, I received a turkey and pepper jack cheese with very little lettuce. So I went back to the counter, they apologized even offered a dessert while I waited for them to correctly make my sandwich. 5 minutes later I get a new sub, unfortunately its still wrong Turkey, salami pepper jack mayo, mustard. Missing all the veggies and for some reason they heated it? It tasted ok, but was hoping for the sub I ordered.

Under new management,I called in an order for two hoggies.the order taker didn't tell me you have to request veggies on sandwich.but I told him everything but no tomatoes but extra onion.I got and onion and ham.I want go back it's always a bad sandwich when night shift is working.

This is a great place to eat. I love the hot ham and cheese sandwich. So glad I finally found them after they moved. Beautiful atmosphere !!!

I’ve been coming to the hoagie shop since it was in the little white building where McDonald’s is. I do miss the old atmosphere but like the bigger building. So glad the “old style” of salami is back on the hoagies but for $9.69 there should be a little more meat on them. Everything tasted pretty great though!

The fact they pretty much only hire young girls is a little creepy but the food is amazing. I wish it was still the original owners in a different building because this space smells like sewage and the new owners have kinda ruined the vibes.
