This was a great first time experience. We were greeted promptly, the staff was very friendly and the food was great. Pay a visit when in the area.
The best smash burger I've ever had!
The owner and staff welcomed us. The food was to die for. This whole thing is so open and welcoming it’s our new place. Thank you!! 💕
The best place to spend a Friday/Saturday night in Jefferson City
The owner is as real as it gets and truly cares about his customers. Had brunch on Saturday and my wife said it was the best BLT she has ever had, while my daughter ate the strawberry pancakes which were amazing. I had the biscuits and gravy and they were great. Will be back for the breakfast burger one of these nights.
The food is amazing! The atmosphere is fun and friendly… craft beers are terrific!! This is an extremely well run family business and we highly highly recommend supporting them!!!
Molly is the best . Great food and service
This place is absolutely AMAZING!!!! The food was fantastic and service impeccable. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The star of the show for me was the craft beer. The quality and selection was truly next level. You really wouldn't expect anything close to this quality in a little college town. I can not wait to return to this place to see what they have on tap. Congrats Mad Ox House because you have made a true BLUE fan in me!!!!
We had the burgers on a Saturday night, food was great, and lots of different beers on draft.
Mediocre pizza

Definitely a hidden gem. Great food, service and atmosphere.
It was a great place to sit down with family and talk. Wait was shorter than they said it would be. Food and service was on point. Will definitely be back.
If you are looking for a local establishment with great food, local craft beer, and a cigar-friendly patio, this is the place for you! Jacob the owner, and his staff (our server was Lucas), provide excellent service. I highly recommend eating here!
Stopped by here on Oct. 19 after the Carson-Newman game for dinner. We got our kids a nachos appetizer and the three small burger meal to share, a fancy salad for my wife, and I got the poppin pepper burger that was on special. Had a draft root beer, a milk, and two waters to drink. Waited about ten minutes for our food to come out. Everything was delicious but the burger was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had…it’s what you dream the perfect burger is and this was it. A tragedy they only have them on Saturdays because this puts all other burgers to shame. Even better was everything cost $62 before tip…so about $15 a person which is just barely above some fast food places nowadays. Service and atmosphere was great. My only complaint is why can’t other restaurants be this awesome? If you’re in Jefferson City you are a fool if you don’t eat here at least once.
I always have a good time here. One of my favorite places to eat.
