The wait staff was amazing. I wanted a specific glass of wine they did not have that but he listened to what I liked and chose one very similar! Great job 👍

We had never dined at Aubrey’s before, and if it weren’t for a gift card we won at a luncheon hosted by our realtors earlier this year, we might have completely overlooked this hidden gem.

After a morning hike, we took some time to freshen up and wrap up a few work tasks before heading over to the Aubrey’s in Johnson City. Though it was well past the lunch rush, we were warmly welcomed and promptly seated.

The restaurant’s interior is inviting and stylish, with a dark, neutral color palette accented by vibrant pops of yellow. Large chalkboard murals and thoughtful dĂ©cor contribute to a clean, modern, yet cozy atmosphere.

Our server, Sarah R., greeted us with a cheerful smile, took our orders efficiently, and offered to bring fresh bread while we waited. Yes, please!

My husband ordered the Old Fashioned Patty Melt — a mouthwatering combo of juicy burger patty, Swiss cheese, grilled onions, and crispy bacon on Texas toast. His fries were “double-dunked” for that perfect extra crunch, just as he likes them — nearly burnt, but not quite.

I chose the Thunder Road Burger, topped with crispy tobacco onions, jalapeños, and just the right amount of their signature pimento cheese spread. It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! I paired it with a fully loaded baked potato — generously topped and included at no extra charge — and it exceeded expectations.

Sarah struck the perfect balance of attentiveness, checking in just enough without ever hovering. She even brought my husband two refills on his Dr. Pepper without being asked.

All I can say is this: if you haven’t tried Aubrey’s yet, consider yourself warned — it may just win you over on your first visit like it did us.

We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Second time dining at Aubrey's while in Johnson City. Great location, plenty of parking, nice atmosphere. Menu has plenty of options both for food and drink. Call ahead seating on a Friday night was a plus. Waiter was great...but I forgot his name..sorry...

Our server was training a server and between the 2 of them, our table of 6 had to continually ask for drink refills.
One gentleman who ordered bread with his salmon dinner and reminded the 2 servers, after his food came, never got his bread or an explanation why no bread.

The food is fantastic and the service was superb. Medium priced dishes that are good and plentiful.

What a phenomenal experience with Aubrey's 2 days in a row for dinner.
We traveled in for the Senior girls Little League softball tournament.
Aubrey's happily sat us the first night for 15 people, and had a table ready for us when we arrived.
The 2nd night, we panicked trying to figure out where we were going to eat as a team. We called, and the managers made it happen. The women who served our tables were AMAZING and the food was GREAT! We hate that we live 5 hours away, otherwise, you would absolutely have a reoccuring team visit from us!
Thank you all!

House salad was very good and fish and chips were delicious. The Mahi was dry and lacking flavor and the rice was gross. For $112, it wasn’t worth it.

I’m not a huge fan of chains, but this Aubrey’s is pretty solid. I have been many times and I am pleased each go at it. They have a great staff and great service. Only downside is it can get very pricey, but I suppose that’s expected. As someone who hates spinach dip, this is the only place I ever eat it. And the patty melt is what I get every single time. The Boston scrog is also very good.

The sweet waffle fries are to live for. The cook is horrible about how to cook a steak. Waitress asked how it was and when told the steak was grossly undercooked she did offer to rebook it. Bu
