I spend over $20 a week at this place and since the one manager is no longer there, things has went way down hill!! Most of the time now the case has about 6 different choices to choose from. I went to buy a regular soft drink out of the cooler and they were going to charge me $2.50!! I told them I could buy a two liter for that price!! Employees are very friendly but the owner has no personality and when requested to be spoken to by the customer, he won't even come out of his office!! Please don't tip there because the tip jar is NOT FOR EMPLOYEES!!! The owner buys his supplies with our tips!! They are about too lose my business because of all of this!!! This business will not stay open long of it continues to be ran like this!!

Friend said to try them out they were good from the previous owners i don’t know I haven’t tried them till now mid quality donut and mid quality service from the counter and tips don’t even go to the worker’s definitely not going back and wouldn’t recommend it to anybody honestly Walmart had similar baking

I used to get bubble tea from here all the time because its right by my house! But the last 3 times I have come the bubble tea has just tasted like water. I noticed that the cups are bigger now, so maybe adjust the recipie to the new cupsize? I would love to come back and get more one day but I really really want the recipie to be fixed so I can come back!! Also the tapioca balls are eh sometimes, sometimes theyre all deformed and stuck together but I can live with that. I cant live with deformed balls + watery taste though. :( Pls fix it!!!

Love their second location at 2708 N Roan St, Johnson City 37601. Love the friendly customer service and their amazing donuts! Great selection and so fresh..... check it out. These Daylight Donuts are so much better than those found in Dunkin or grocery stores.

I was shopping in the same strip mall as Daylight Donuts. It was approximately 1:30 p.m. on a Saturday, but a donut sounded good. When I entered the store, I noticed that the display case was mostly empty, which is understandable given the time of day. There were maple donuts in the case, but they were topped with bacon. I saw a tray of donuts in the back and inquired if they had any maple without bacon. The woman behind the desk acted as if I had asked for her right arm. She quickly answered "No" in a rude tone, but another employee spoke up and stated she had some in the back. When I asked for an apple fritter, the counter employee stated, "We only have pineapple!" in her unfriendly tone. So I paid for the maple donuts and left, thinking I would never return! As for the taste of the donut, it was good, but not great enough that I would not buy put up with the employee attitude again.

Daylight Donuts is hands down the best donut shop in the Tri-Cities area we have found! We NEVER go to DUMBKIN anymore, their corporate bean counters told them long ago to "cut back" on the fillings to increase profit margins so your lucky to get 2 bites with any in theirs but not at Daylight Donuts! They still make em' fresh and right! Trust me! Go get a Long John and tell me it's not the best you've ever had! And you'll be supporting a smaller local business here in our wonderful JC!! Keep it up, Daylight we love you!
