Daylight Donuts Reviews
Since changing owners, have tried and tried to give them a chance but never again. Driest kolaches, asked for mild, just sausage and cheese, got home and they are jalapeño. Ordered glazed filled Bismarks, got dry, no glaze, lumps of dough with filling the size of 1/4 of a penny. Ridiculous! The Hawaiian is supposed to have pineapple and coconut in it, ended up with an apple fritter like thing with no apple! Never ever again!
Daylight Donuts has changed hands repeatedly with quality dropping each time. Today they refused to honor a gift certificate bought at the State of Franklin store as I stood in the State of Franklin store. It was a $12 gift certificate for a $20 order that I had cash in hand to cover the difference.
We ended up going across the street and getting a bigger order at Auntie Ruth’s.
Nasty biscuits and gravy! Gravy is awful biscuits so tuff fork will not cut bread. Prices have went insane- never again

Daylight Donuts LLC is a beloved local spot known for its fresh, quality donuts with a hometown taste that evokes nostalgic feelings. Customers praise the friendly and appreciative owner, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The donuts are often described as exceptionally fresh, with many favorites including the sour cream donut and old fashioned. The sweetness is just right, and the crusts are lovely with good bites, especially with fruit flavors like blueberry and pineapple fritter, which feature actual fruit. Some customers feel the donuts have recently become smaller, which has affected their experience, and note that staff tips go directly to the owner. The shop offers more than just donuts, including Boba tea and Kolaches, and has a drive-thru option. Overall, it’s a solid, friendly place with quality treats, though some note that the oil used for frying could be fresher.
