It's no longer Go Burrito. Just a bar now we tried to visit during red plum festival and was disappointed that we had to think of another place to eat at.

This is my favorite bar! All the staff takes amazing care of everyone. They were having credit card processing issues tonight, and still took stellar care of everyone they could, as quickly and efficiently as technology would allow. I love coming here and doing karaoke. The Rum Bar is better than a bar, it’s the most amazing place. Go and try it, you won’t be disappointed.

The bar is comparable to any in downtown Asheville. Excellent wait staff and knowledge of drink recipes. Friendly neighborhood service expected of the local culture. I would highly recommend this local spot for anyone traveling or in the local area.

Was going to give this place a try. Tried to order beef and chicken nachos. Was standing their. Then I spoke up while she was working on an order. Then she acknowledged I was their and said I be with you. I wanted the chips on the side. She put the chips in bag. And then asked what else. I said it’s suppose to be beef and chicken nachos. She replied we don’t do it that way. I repeated again beef and chicken nachos with chips on the side to take with me. She said again we don’t do it that way. After that I turned around and walked out. If me or anyone else can not order items the way we want it. Then their is no point to having a menu.This happened on 9/29 around 5pm.

We were driving through and excited to get a great burrito. Sadly disappointed. When we arrived at probably about 7:30 or so I decided to get one of their signature burritos. The girl making it asked if I wanted it just as it came. I said yes! So she started with the beans then said we are out of pork pick another protein. No problem I’ll have chicken. Then she passed it off to someone else who said we don’t have the corn salsa or the banana peppers or the pineapple. Ok at this point it’s a completely different burrito with 1/2 the ingredients missing. My partner got one of the ones with fries and there were about 8 dry French fries at the bottom of the bin, clearly needed to drop more. We got two fountain drinks and two of the flavors of soda were out of syrup… went to the bathroom and the trash was overflowing. Wish we had gotten poke bowls instead. The final result was ok… but super lackluster and the whole operation just felt lazy.If you order something and you don’t have the ingredients say at the beginning so I can pick something else or change my mind.Overall just felt lazy.

Go burrito is very unique. The staff is amazing and the bar is one of the best in downtown Johnson City. If you want an example think about the older show “Cheers”….Where everyone knows your name. The atmosphere is chill and the people that put their hard work into making it a nice space for everyone are amazing people. We come almost every weekend and go here more than any other place in JC.

I am not sure about the review that was just posted, as I am here this evening (my favorite hangout, on the patio)! The same redhead, female bartender is waiting on me, as she often does. Super polite, awesome customer service, always a pleasure to see after a long day!! She goes out of her way to take care of her customers. I LOVE this place. P.s... please get the outside ceiling fan working. It really helps with air circulation. Thanks!

I love hanging out here and eating at go burrito/Chopsticks express. The rum bar is a lot of fun. Tuesday they have trivia night and the weekends they usually have karaoke and live music. Great for the college crowd.

Wow! What a change this place has made since the last time I was in Johnson city. Before I said this would be a good place for a bar. It wasn't lively nor did it have anyone in it but great potential. Well...NOW I'm blown away! I had one of the best times I've had in a very long time at Go Burrito! Great food and drinks! Reasonably priced. Red head bartender Alissa was the cherry on top! Informative and friendly. You can tell she likes her job. Made us excited to be there! Bravo keep up the good work folks!

Got there a little late in the evening, so the steam trays were tired. The steak was so parched, they smartly refused to serve it. The brown rice in my burrito could break teeth, the pork was a greasefest, and the salsa was boring. Fortunately, the staff was charming as heck.

I ordered chips on the side with my meal and when I received my order this is how the chips came (from delivery service door dash .. I ordered build your own nachos with chips on side). I’m very disappointed because I loved to eat at this local restaurant but this is gross and I will not be back.Note to store: I ordered my food through a delivery service see above comment. Yes, this was from your restaurant, yes you sent the chips in a box! Again, this was disgusting.07/17 delivered at 2:17 p.m.

Stopped by to have a drink and enjoy their patio. It was a really nice set up, lots of seating and was nice to be able to order a drink from the patio. We had a Mai Thai and a Painkiller both were amazing!!
