The bar is comparable to any in downtown Asheville. Excellent wait staff and knowledge of drink recipes. Friendly neighborhood service expected of the local culture. I would highly recommend this local spot for anyone traveling or in the local area.
Go burrito is very unique. The staff is amazing and the bar is one of the best in downtown Johnson City. If you want an example think about the older show “Cheers”….Where everyone knows your name. The atmosphere is chill and the people that put their hard work into making it a nice space for everyone are amazing people. We come almost every weekend and go here more than any other place in JC.

This is my favorite bar! All the staff takes amazing care of everyone. They were having credit card processing issues tonight, and still took stellar care of everyone they could, as quickly and efficiently as technology would allow. I love coming here and doing karaoke. The Rum Bar is better than a bar, it’s the most amazing place. Go and try it, you won’t be disappointed.
