“One of the friendliest places in the Southern Tier! I walked into Five Guys in JC today and mentioned to one of the staff, which may have been the Manager, that this was my first time at Five Guys, and he turned toward all of the other workers and announced that I was a newbie to Five Guys. Him and the entire staff gave me an unexpected, but much appreciated, warm and friendly welcome. I hadn't felt that welcome since I had dined at a Waffle House in South Carolina! He then told me that my meal was on the house! I found this experience to be refreshing and thought to myself that we all need to be more generous, kind, and friendly in today's world which seems to only get more divisive and less welcoming each year. Thank you Five Guys staff for making my evening a special one!“

“Order taker could not understand us when we said we wanted the House Special. We even said it was at the bottom of the list, but she said she could not see the menu. I then listed the toppings and she still didn't know. She finally said, oh you mean the Cook Out special and wrung up the wrong item. It came quickly and she brought it to us. We didn't know until we were down the highway that the order was wrong. Still, it was a good burger, just not what we asked for.“

“We are not often in Elizabethton, but bypass all other restaurants to eat at Sammons. The burgers are great and toppings so fresh. We love the big bag of seasoned fries and this visit I had a chocolate-peanut butter milkshake. Soooo good. We appreciate the outdoor seating since we travel with our little dog. In business since 1950 and I can see why. I highly recommend.“
