I have a secret! If you drove past the Long John Silvers on the Bristol Highway in North Johnson City, you would see a packed parking lot. Why? You probably thought like I did and thought LJS had seen its better days. Well, you won’t believe it but they have made a huge comeback! It reminds me of when I used to eat there as a kid with my parents. The fish fillets are thick and flavorful like they used to be 20 years ago. Big improvement on the new waffle fries. We weren’t sure if they were still in business or not because of the curb view. But we saw a worker outside on break and the food signs up. The owner or manager should consider having some maintenance done on the surrounding garden areas. They are overgrown and have weeds as well as the parking lot. However, besides that, the food was on point for a Long John Silvers. Very good! The workers were helpful too. Thank you!
