Took back my Freedom at Moe’s Original BBQ in Johnson City, TN. Felt completely safe and as always the food was excellent. The staff are always very friendly and create an atmosphere of a Family gathering.

Love Moe's! The cornbread is amazing! Buttery with a hint of sweetness. And the kid's meals are a great price!

Consistently great food and service. One thing I love about eating here is the daily specials and sides. I'm always trying something new!

If you only go once...get the smoke chicken wing platter! They are MAGICAL. Had fresh pork rinds still snapping, crackling, and popping when they brought out the food. Service was wonderful. Food top notch quality. The atmosphere was pleasant and interesting. My husband had the lg rib platter with cauliflower casserole and skillet corn. Platters come with jalapeño cornbread (generous slice skillet fried on both sides) and drink included. I was expecting chain quality BBQ with usual blah sides. Oh I was wrong. My wings were crispy skinned, mouth watering moist. I gnawed the bones till not a speck of flavor was left. I was actually, legitimately sad when they were gone. Thank you for a delicious meal.

The ribs were cooked perfect and the cornbread was the best I ever had. Great customer service and very reasonable prices. My wife loved the pulled pork.

Visited for the first time and was warmly greeted as we walked in. They have different specials and side dishes daily which made for a great selection. All items were very good.

Pulled BBQ sandwich was absolutely delicious! It was moist, lean and was a very hardy sandwich! Did not try their sides, but if like other Mo’s we have visited in AL and CO, they were excellent too. Only complaint was the ice tea....tasted slightly soapy!? Must have either been the glass or the ice, because I tried a sample of tea in a styrofoam cup and it was good. Might have to bring my own drink next time b/c of this (plus I like Coke better than Pepsi which they serve). They might get the problem solved by our next visit. We will return!

Not what I expected at all. Very pricey and be honest food was just not that great they need someone to teach them now to cook barq. and the slaw was something like I never eaten before. The bread was not cornbread not sure what it was. The only thing that was ok was the potato salad and it wasn't the best I had never eaten. New to area first time there and last time there. For what you get very expensive for the food quality and quantity. Very disappointed in our take out meal tonight.

The place smelled amazing when you walked in the door. Great atmosphere. Bbq pork was just ok. Wings were very good, and the shrimp mo boy was good. The sides tasted store bought. Not that impressed honestly. ?

I enjoying eating at Moe's every 2 weeks or weekly. The food is great and the rotating side items menu is fantastic.

Customer experience 1st the entire staff was sooo friendly then all the food I ate was great from the salad to the Mac and cheese Down to the dessert Banana Pudding which put a smile on my heart! It also helps they support one of my life long friends @Fudge Fitness! Thank you

Absolutely delicious, truly authentic bar-b-que that is smoked for hours, and more that worth the wait. The staff is super helpful and definitely passionate about their craft. Will definitely try to get back to this location the next time I return to Johnson City!
