Amazing food, the friendliest staff and such a creative cocktail menu ! If you want to feel like family and have an amazing hibachi experience PLEASE check them out !! Cleanest restaurant I’ve been to in Johnson City. Staff was very welcoming and answered any and all questions I had ! From the time we walked into the door we felt welcomed. I’m not sure what all the bad reviews on this place are about rather than it seems like they’re brainwashed and simply just don’t know what good food, good drinks and an amazing atmosphere is like ! Ignore the bad reviews and definitely check them out guys !! You won’t be disappointed!!!! Best Japanese/ hibachi/ sushi place IN THE TRI CITIES !!!!

The hibachi salmon is the best prepared salmon I've ever had in my life. Perfect texture and flavor, all around 10/10. The teriyaki veg were great with the perfect amount of smoky grilled flavor. The fried rice texture was spot on. I can't speak for the sushi yet or the customer service, because we ordered DoorDash, but I will 100% buy from here again.

This place is either creating fake accounts or asking friends to leave fake negative reviews for Choptixpress, then coming here and leaving positive reviews. How unprofessional and petty! Clearly they know their food and service isn’t enough to compete so have to resort to this. Very shady! I wouldn’t trust this place at all

The service was phenomenal and so was the food. All servers, and staff were so friendly the entire time. Our chef was very fun and personable, he even made a tiny little bowl of rice for our baby to eat! He took his time, made sure we were taken care of and cooked our food perfectly! We will 100% be coming back here,highly recommended.

Ate there before as it was Sugar Cane. Came back for valentine's day dinner. Got seated right next to where they serve sushi. My wife doesnt do cold well so we asked to be moved or turn up the heat. After 5min passed waitress came back said the thermostat was locked and wouldn't move us. We got up and left! Lost my business after that.

Love this Sushi bar nestled in next to Kroger. Looks a little plain on the outside, but inside is a full bar and is well furnished. I enjoy coming in on Wednesday for their sushi deals and now they have started beer buckets (so my waitress told me) so I may have to venture in on a Thursday!

Food was excellent. Steak was tender and had a real good taste. Service was great and the chef was awesome

Nearly died before I got home. Chicken was old ,dry, and almost jerky. Wait staff was great though.

Samurai has the best sushi in the area. The spicy tuna crunchy toasted garlic roll is unbelievable and the Be Best roll is one of my favorite sushi rolls ever. The ramen and curry are both amazing. We have eaten here many times and never once had a bad experience or any food less than amazing. The staff is always so friendly and do a great job. Everything is always so clean and neat. We LOVE this place!!!

Great place to eat! The food was delicious and the service was great. Awesome friendly attentive waitress. I had the chicken and filet mignon hibachi and it was awesome! The steak was extra tender, well seasoned and cooked perfectly!! Very large portions. They have a great menu of hibachi and Thai food. Definitely will be going back when we are back in the area.

the staff and food is incredible! I have had hibachi and sushi all around the world, and this is the best I've had! if you are in the tri cities you have to try this place! service is great, food is delicious and you cannot beat the show you get with dinner!!
