Consistently good service and great food! They have a really nice selection of bourbons/whiskies and good bartenders. Bartenders will come to your table and ask questions sometimes to ensure they get it right. It’s not just their smoked meats that are so good either, their sides are terrific! The fried ocra is like my grandmother used to make.
My son and I love the Johnson City location. They have great food and drinks. I've had numerous items on the menu and haven't been disappointed except maybe once in over a year. But what's as good as, or better than the food, that keeps us going back are the servers/bartenders: Isaac, Lindsey, Aubrey and others. They are authentic, attentive and make you feel at home. Food is fine but without at least decent service it really doesn’t matter!! I won’t be back! Service wasn’t slow, it was nonexistent!! I ended up going to the kitchen door to ask for my food and sure enough there was my food, where it had sitting for at least the last 20 minutes in a bag waiting to be brought to me.
