I ate here today for the first time. We were a group of six; some ordered breakfast and some ordered lunch. Two of us ordered the 1/2 pound cheeseburger, which came with LTMO. Sides like fries are Ala carte. Although my burger was not cooked as I'd requested, it was still very good. The tasty fries were a thick, crinkle cut.Two of the members of our group each ordered a pancake, which was the size of a large dinner plate. One ordered an omelet, and another ordered eggs with sausage and bacon. I was told by all of them that their food was delicious.The service was very good, with one of the servers being the owner's mom. Food does come out a little slower here than some places, because everything (including the pancakes) is pan-cooked. They don't have a grill surface.We had a lovely experience and will be happy to eat here again.

Great new place to grab a bite. Ended up having breakfast for lunch, which I often like to do. Very good and recommend you give them a try. I'll upload a better breakfast photo next time I'm there. I'm betting the menu will expand as they grow.

My wife & I stopped at The Dogwood Cafe for lunch while traveling along the interstate. We were so glad that we did! The cafe is quiet, clean, and nicely decorated. We both had the BLT sandwiches, which were perfect! The staff was so friendly and the cook came out to check on us. We had a very pleasant lunch there and highly recommend it.

I was recommended this place by one of my co workers. I have to say I love their breakfast and burgers!!! I got an omelette and it was one of the best omelettes I’ve ate. I heard the blueberry pancakes were amazing and I was planning to make plans for weekend breakfast to try the pancakes and discovered they are closed sadly but I have to say this place has me sold! Also great service! Everyone is so friendly

This place is amazing. The burgers are reminiscent of backyard barbecues and the fries are literally the best I've ever had. The sweet tea was transcendent. I'm looking forward to trying everything they have to offer.
The food was great. Friendly service. A bit of a wait but well worth it. Plan to go back soon!

Tonight was our first time trying Dogwood Cafe. It was evident the food was prepared using high quality, fresh ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the sweet glaze on the meatloaf, along with the homemade mashed potatoes that still had a few small lumps so you knew they were the real thing! My partner stated the chicken alfredo was arguably some of the best he has ordered from a restaurant in the Tri-Cities area, along with a delicious homemade ranch dressing for the side salad. Our only critique was that the food was room temperature at best by the time we got home, despite only living a few minutes from the restaurant. We will definitely return for another visit in the future!

The food looked so delicious, I didn't think to photograph it before I began to eat.I have managed 4 - and 5-star hotels that offer fine dining; I can say with experience, that The Dogwood Cafe at 27, has excellent food, delightful hospitality and service, a warm atmosphere, and a chef that KNOWS HOW TO COOK!!!I encourage you to stop in, especially if you are traveling along I-26 exit 27, and enjoy dinner (hours are 4 pm - 8 pm). I promise you'll enjoy it!
