I was there for new years eve last night it was pretty packed people were still in line to come in music etc.. I bought my drink and went and stood at one of the tables. One of the male employees approached me a couple of minutes after I got my drink and told me to finish up it was getting that time. I said okay (there wasnt a last call announcement yet and everyone was still dancing drinking etc..) he seemed to be drunk or under the influence of something. not 5 minutes passes and he tells me honey im telling you hurry with your drink. I told him I was finishing. He then tells me I have 30 seconds to finish or he was taking it from me I asked why and as soon as I asked he forcefully took the drink from my hands spilling it on me then grabs me by my arm and pulls me out of the bar. This was my first drink here I was alone and definitely not inebriated so I have no idea why he targeted me. needless to say they need better staff there and I will be addressing this issue fully

This establishment holds no responsibility for their actions or the safety of their customers. I know someone who had their credit card stolen and it was being used at their club. She went to report it to the bartender and he refused to stop accepting it. Even after knowing it was a stole card. This place is a blight and take no responsibility for the harm their customers suffer when there. There are so many other wonderful places to go in Johnson City. This place isn't worth the cover charge. Don't waste your time!

I didn’t try the food, so I can’t comment on that, but Keela behind the bar was absolutely amazing. Really nice young lady. Ask her to make you a gin rickey!!

I want to start off saying wonderlands is a fun place to go too. But they have an employee named Jaya Bean that likes to abuse her working status there and kick people out for “underage drinking” which isn’t true. And funny enough she was recently charged with underage drinking on 06/22/2025. She needs to go. I would love to hear back from a manager about this.

On Saturday 11-15-2025 I went to wonderland with my cousin. I personally had never been there before. We got there pretty early. I would say around 7ish. Walked in and had a couple of drinks. We later walked outside to get some air and then waited the VIP line to get back in since we had already been there. One we got back in we were advised to not go back out until we get a wrist band. Fine okay, so we set at the bar in the mean time and have a couple of more drinks. We then noticed a few people getting wrist bands so we made our way to the front to get one. My cousin went first, she was fine and got one quickly. I on the other hand ran into issues. To add to the story, I am from Virginia and my license didn’t expire until 2027 so I have been holding to that one until it expires, like most people do. On the drivers license when you get it under 21 it’s says on the card “under the age of 21” still have never had an issue with that. I am 26 now. Why would I go spend the money on something that isn’t due for it. I digress, I had this blonde lady my valid driver’s license. She then proceeds to ask my date of birth, I give correctly. Then she asked the address on the card, I gave correctly. They then turn their little light off and take a flash light to it, which is fine, I have had that before and been fine. The blonde kid says “this is fake, they don’t look like this.”(after selling me alcoholic beverages for 2hours) I say excuse me, I have had that since I was 17, it is very much valid.” I then look over to my cousin and then hear a snap. The blonde kid snapped my valid drivers license in half and then proceeded to say “they don’t snap like that” ?????? Like what??? Then the other lady said that they would have to call a deputy to see if it was a valid ID, after the blonde kid snapped it. I asked how they were going to scan it when it was already snapped. The other lady then said she was going to get the manager to see what he thought. The manager, Mo, I think, came out from the bar saying I could go down the road to get a new ID for 19 dollars. I then said I live in VA why would I do that. And then I told him that the blonde kid had snapped in the first place which he was not aware of and said that it was uncalled for. He gave me my money back and then said once I get a new one to come back up and he would pay for that as well. Needless to say, let’s maybe hire people that know the proper protocol to checking a fake license and not damage personal property.

We happened to be there on Wonderland's Italian special night. Andrea was amazing, very friendly and welcoming. The food is really amazing. The complimentary focaccia bread was heavenly. We ordered a crispy cauliflower appetizer, rack of lamb, pesto penne pasta. The entrees came with a soup or salad. The soup of the day was asparagus soup - it was very tasty. The food was so flavorful, really want to go back and try everything on the menu. Met with Chef Mo too, very friendly and fun to talk to. He makes everything including sauces from scratch, which clearly is the reason for the amazing flavor.

My friend lost her phone, and we repeatedly asked for help with the staff. No one bothered to help and instead just said no we don’t have any. I got cursed out by a waitress at the bar for asking about a phone. Do not recommend. Go somewhere where people care?
