Honestly delicious! Also the best service we have ever received at a hibachi grill. The restaurant was clean and the staff was attentive. Options for the salads and soups, and a yummy sushi plate. For the main course, some of the best scallops I’ve had, and flavor galore throughout the rice/steak/chicken. We moved here recently and this is definitely our new favorite hibachi grill.

I am a picky eater with a debilitating shellfish allergy. I am always hesitant to ask and make a big deal of it, especially in a restaurant where my allergy is going to affect the way other visitors have their food prepared (my friends have told me that yes, it is ridiculous to feel this way when I could die, but I am stupid). Yuimaru immediately accommodated my needs and made me feel welcome. The food was practically a religious experience, because I started googling Home Hibachis immediately after tasting the egg fried rice. Also, I was wearing a Misfits shirt, and our chef engaged me in the most thorough Misfits conversation that I've had since I was in a horrible garage punk band as a teenager, which WOULD have been the highlight of my night, if one of our friends hadn't also announced her pregnancy during dinner (tough competition). He also hibachi'd like a SAMURAI and entertained us throughout the experience (shout out to the train whistle and "fire extinguisher"). Our server was Allie, who was attentive, cheerful, and just a pleasant person. I did not get our chef's name, but he has a sick Horror Business tattoo, so please give those two a bonus or some kind of gold star. I am too lazy to review places 95% of the time, but I wanted to recognize them both. We will be back!Dietary restrictions: Tell the staff of your shellfish allergy. They will prepare shrimp for the rest of the group last, after all of your food has been put on your plate.

Was charged to much for one person ... was not made aware that the regular sushi day special was not being done because of Valentine's day.,which I was by myself. Got charged 18% gratuity for guest of 5 or more. A tip is fine but I sat at a table where there was 1 empty seat beside a guy I knew and hadn't seen. He was with 3 other people which I did not kno so I was told tht I was n the party of 5. Lost my business on this trip ...?
Sushi was very good and fresh. There other items we bought were good but just not the very best, but still a very good place to eat.

I have been before and was seated at a hibachi table. That was an entirely different experience compared to what happened last night. We ordered tappenyaki (same stuff as off the hibachi grill) but we were sat at a regular table. I assumed that our food would still be cooked fresh even tho we were at a regular table, I was very wrong. Our order came out after some time and it was the most disappointing plates of Japanese food I've ever had sat in front of me. And for $20-$27 per plate, I expected a mountain of fresh food (like I receive at every other Hibachi restaurant) . None of it was fresh. I asked for my steak to be cooked Medium and it was chewy and beyond well done. There was such little food that I was able to finish my plate, which NEVER happens, I love having my leftovers next day, but my $27 dollar plate of food was so small. And then they added automatic gratuity because we sat with our friends and their child which made us a 5 top. This took our bill from $65 up to $86....why did I pay $86 for food that came out of a warming bin??? And now, here I sit up at 6am because my stomach is in distress. I will be coming back later today to have a discussion with the manager about this ridiculousness.
