I meet my father there every Tuesday morning for breakfast. it's a quite place we can talk and have a decent breakfast.
Nuthin fancy here, just good (okay, really EXCELLENT) down-home food. Go for breakfast and be sure to get the biscuits and gravy! I like my eggs over medium-well, the whites cooked and a little yolk still ready to run. In the year I've been eating here, the eggs have been perfect 100% of the time. Where else can you say that? They also serve a GREAT BLT at lunch time, a legit burger, and some other very good stuff. Neither I nor my husband has ever been disappointed in a meal...read full review
This is a difficult review for me to write because I really love this place. The food and service are absolutely fabulous! However, yesterday my son and I went there for brunch and after eating we noticed a cockroach crawling up the wall. Olde Towne Pancake House and Catering offers a historic atmosphere, fresh food, and wonderful service. The staff is friendly and makes customers feel welcome, ensuring they leave happy. The coffee is exceptional, made with ground-on-site beans and served with real Maple Syrup. This cozy eatery is family-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and reasonably priced, making it a hidden gem worth visiting again and again. It has the feel of a small family-run business that truly cares about the customer experience. The restaurant, which is actually a house turned into a dining space, has great character and is a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. The breakfast is tasty and consistent, with many recommending trying the Very Berry Pancake. While the small space and limited parking may be drawbacks, the excellent service and friendly staff make it a must-visit place when in historic Jonesborough, TN. Visitors appreciate the cooked-to-order food, especially the roll-up crêpes, and enjoy the cozy but sometimes cramped setting. Be aware that parking can be difficult and wait times may be longer during busy hours, and it’s helpful to check to-go orders carefully, as some reviews mention issues with strawberries on the strawberry roll-ups. Overall, Olde Towne Pancake House provides a warm, welcoming experience with delicious food that keeps guests coming back.
