Tennessee Hills Distillery | Salt House offers a great time sampling different and wide ranging spirits. The staff are very helpful, attentive, informative, and knowledgeable, making guests feel completely unrushed. The atmosphere, music, and service are 10/10. Visitors enjoy the best taste testing around, with mixed drinks and a favorite Bloody Mary. The whiskey and vodka are some of the best, with vodka refined 11 times being very smooth, and the coffee liquor is really good. The superb but small tasting room is a bit hard to find at the top of the hill over working train tracks, which makes for an interesting experience when a train comes by. Guests can buy several bottles at modest prices. For beer and food, visitors must go to the Bristol Tn location.
