“This restaurant reminds me of the Gastropubs we frequented in Southern California.Lively variety of menu items to choose from. I had the Label Reuben with Firecraxker aioli on the side, although I found it wasn't too hot for me. The side of Sweet Potato fries and honey mustard was delectable.I treated myself to a Mule with Backberry Ginger Syrup, Goslings Ginger Beer, and Buffalo Trace Bourbon.“

“This place is special! This place is spectacular! If you really know food, you will definitely appreciate this unique and outstanding establishment. The ambience is just as perfect as the menu and food. And the service is exceptional This is now my new go to in Johnson City.! I wish there was one of these in every town. I traveled too!“

“Food is amazing. We got subs and chips and we’re not disappointed. Service was great. Waitress was attentive and nice. Pricing was great as well. One of the reviews below noted how sandwiches were not to size. They do not say that you get a 12 inch whole sub or a 6 inch half sub. They notate “whole” or “half” of sandwich. The portions they give you are filling and delicious. They offer lunch specials as well. They offer beer as well. Parking on street is free and parking lots nearby are free as well.“

“I like this place I've only been here 5-6 times but they have been consistently good. Not sure why everyone likes that nasty white creamy cheese sauce but i don't like it. so if you're not a fan of the east coast cheese sauce definitely ask that they not put any on. Guarantee west coast Mexican food will never have that kummy sauce in it. I usually get their steak and egg breakfast burritos always on point. Service has always been good. Tall booths and plenty of seating. Their north location next to the food city is good too.“

“I loved the place and the atmosphere. It's forbidden to take pictures and videos once you are inside, there is a rule guide on each table. Our waitress was very sweet, they didn't have a Water Lilly drink on the drink menu but she told me they can make it for me and they did. I was very happy since I always take Water Lilly when I am at Speakeasy.“

“In Johnson City this past weekend, Moe’s has closed permanently, not surprising as it had been going downhill for quite a while, and I couldn’t face the usual boring food from Amigos or the other cookie cutter Mexican run restaurants . . . so I took a chance on Holy Taco. I was pleasantly surprised . . . the chips and red salsa were excellent, I got a taco with tofu, onions and cilantro on a soft corn tortilla . . . it was very good, although it was small, proportions could be bigger. Service was excellent . . . I’ll be back.“

“This was our second time here- first time in the new location. It is the best Baja style Mexican food I've had this side of the Mississippi. I wish the tortillas were homemade, but that doesn't seem to be a thing out here, so I wouldn't ding them for that. We were a large party and everyone was happy with what they ordered. Also, their salsa bar is my new favorite thing. So many delicious options!“

“We visited Tennessee Hills Distillery today while passing through the area, and wow, what a great experience! Cameron gave us a tasting of all their products, including various bourbons, vodka, gin, rums, and some really unique flavored whiskeys, and I was thoroughly impressed with everything. He was really knowledgeable and gave us background on the distillery, the area, and made the whole experience really fun. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. I thought their regular green label bourbon was absolutely outstanding, and I’d put it up against any top bourbon from one of the big companies. The prices were great too! We went in planning to buy maybe one or two things total, and everything was so good that we left with a whole box! Awesome place, awesome spirits, awesome experience!“
