Austin's Steak & Homestyle Buffet

Very friendly staff with lots of choices and huge insulation of food and entrees and sides and a huge salad bar. I enjoyed the fried chicken livers and the fried catfish. I thought it was great because they had breakfast out and I ate there during lunch and I was very happy about that because I missed lunch that day.

Came here on our drive home. Food is what's to be expected at a buffet. Chicken and dumplings was amazing so were the rolls. We def had favorites while here. Waitress was welcoming. I will say I dont appreciate the cashier at the end hitting on my husband while I was in the restroom and then making a face at me while I walked out. I feel this is not appropriate and unprofessional.

I have never been disappointed with Austin's buffet. Wonderful array of delicious food & options. Great friendly staff and atmosphere.

I am not sure why people have rated this place at 4.5 stars…….
Based on the posted high rating we visited this restaurant on 3/12 for family dinner. We were very disappointed! Is there lots of food? Yes, is it what I would consider home style? No was the quality good? No Son had a steak, asked for a medium and it was litterally raw. Ribs were way over cooked. The Prime Rib was tough. Fried shrimp were crisp on the outside but mushy inside. The hot bar of sides (country style) were all straight out of a can, no country cooking here. The place has the old restaurant smell and look, not particularly clean. Salad bar was good! Desert was just ok. The dinner with tip was over $115.00, with two meals being senior. Pricey for what we got. Bright spot was Autumn our server, she kept the table cleared and water glasses filled, great job! The serving line staff at the meat station were not very friendly and you had to fuss at them to cut you some meat. Great restaurants are the ones known for great food and great service. We had great service from our waitress but not from the other staff.
