This place has excellent food and atmosphere. Their dishes are always tasty and appear very fresh. Great local eatery with one of a kind menu.
The best seafood in East Tennessee. Been eating there over 25 years. Good food and good people.
They have excellent Shrimp poboy Sandwich , great red beans and rice. The are fast and keep up with the little details for condiments and keeping your drink filled. They are a small restaurant but they CAN COOK Cajun from the BAYOU in Louisiana.
The service was good. The atmosphere was okay but outdated. The food was nothing to write home about. My seafood gumbo was bland and did not give me that "seafood" flavor and feel I was hoping for. When I could find any seafood in my bowl, the shrimp was super tiny and the whitefish used had no flavor. The seafood in my seafood gumbo seemed like an afterthought. Our calamari was okay but you could tell the oil was too hot and dirty. I might give the Bayou Bay Seafood House a second try. If I do I will update my review.
One of the best places to eat. Also very clean
Excellent food! The clam chowder is the best ever.
Great food, great service and always a blessing to see Andy and Cindy!
Wonderful Louisiana seafood. As with any "GOOD" seafood, its a bit pricey but worth it. Wait staff had to be flagged down ant time we needed something.
The crab legs were steamed perfectly! Customer service was excellent! We were traveling and was grateful to find this spot.
The boudin balls and gumbo was some of the best I've ever had! The fried flounder and crab cake from their entree was great as well.

Awesome food, great service, friendly staff.
I could have gone to Long John silvers for $8. This food came to $36 for the sampler dinner and pie. That's with just having water. The food is better at the fast food place. Will never go back
Been around along time, 20+ years, before any other Knoxviile location serving up Bayou Cajun food! Peanut butter pie dessert is marvelous and legendary!
She crab soup had more than an incidental amount of crab shell in it, otherwise is was ok with minimal flavor. The main course of grouper was also bland, served was rarely to be found. The place was empty of other customers so there was no apparent reason for slow food delivery and service
Just had a great lunch at this out-of-the-way place in South Knoxville. Got there just after the lunch rush so there wasn't a lot of waiting. I ordered the blackened fish with french fries yams and green beans and my food wasfantastic. Fresh and made to order everything was hot and just the right flavors for a Cajun seafood place.
