“They say you should never meet your heroes, but clearly they’ve never met Candy. I ordered a simple unsweet tea, macaroni, a burger slider… and she turned it into a five-star experience. Halfway through my meal, a flock of rogue pigeons somehow burst through the front door (long story), and one made a dive straight for my slider. In one fluid motion, Candy blocked it with a cocktail shaker, slid me to safety, and single-handedly negotiated peace with the birds. She refilled my tea before I even knew I was thirsty again. Her tea pouring technique should be studied in hospitality schools, and if she ever writes a memoir, I’ll be first in line… assuming she isn’t too busy saving the world. 5 stars, no notes“

“Our first visit for dinner won’t be the last! We ordered steak and burgers and were very very satisfied-great quality food! Charity, the manager, and Lily, our waitress, went above and beyond to provide amazing service. It was obvious that that is the standard to which they do business. “We love pour! It’s our favorite place to get drinks and spend time together relaxing and playing games. I love getting to try new flavors without having to commit to a whole glass. The food is pretty good, it is all like reheated as they don’t have a kitchen but the quality is good and it’s yummy!“

Highly recommend you drop in and have Ailis Ito pour you a pint of your favorite, or even better, a dram of your most enjoyed spirit and soak in the atmosphere of a Pub with heart and soul. “Went in around 5:30 on a Saturday and was able to be seated immediately. Staff was friendly and took drink, appetizer and meal order all at once (we had looked at the menu before hand and were ready to order). Multiple groups came and went, but for being a smaller establishment it never felt cramped or too loud. Food was fantastic, we ordered the cheeseburger, wings, kids pizza and kids hotdog, and soft pretzels with beer cheese. Only regret is that it isn’t closer.“

“Really Awesome place!! All the folks who work there are really friendly and I felt like I was family. Really nice bar inside as well as an outdoor bar and stage for live music. While I was there I saw two terrific bands, the opening act was great! They had a female singer who was very talented and the other members were just as exceptional. I didn't catch the band name however the headline act was The Blues Machine and I have to say they are one of the best blues bands I've ever seen anywhere! They are a three piece band with a drummer/singer who's voice is unbelievable! The guitarist is probably the best player in the region, he can play anything and make you feel it down in your soul! The bass player was solid and kept the groove in place.“

“the new owners definitely lost the magic. the brisket in the ramen used to be so good, now it looks like shaved lunchmeat. and the salmon bowl my partner always got wasnt quite up to par either. kimchi wasnt as flavorful. and they got rid of so many pinball machines(and im pretty sure they dont have a free pinball night anymore). they basically got rid of everything that made this place special. would still come for the drinks but i think ill go somewhere else to eat next time. i used to recommend this place to everyone but after going with family who had been there a couple years prior and were really looking forward to it..we left disappointed. if you havent been there before it would still be enjoyable, but knowing what it used to be the standard was set high&they didnt deliver.“

“This was my first time visiting Honeybee Coffee Co! The industrial design and elements, such as the light fixtures, adds a cool and unique touch to the atmosphere.

I was especially impressed by the roastery room available for customers to view as beans are roasted in house! Unfortunately, when I arrived there were none roasting, but I’d love to come by again to watch the process. There was also an outdoor patio that I plan on checking out next time I visit.

Looking at the menu, although there were some seasonal options available, the overall selection was pretty limited. From the financial perspective of the company, I can understand there are probably multiple reasons why a limited menu is helpful. However, I would’ve loved to see more options for add-on’s such as syrups or a wider selection of alternative milks.

I ended up ordering an iced latte with brown sugar and macadamia nut milk. It was delicious! I will for sure be back to this shop when I’m in town.“
