Always has delicious food and the owners/staff are super friendly. Plenty of space to eat inside but they also have some outdoor seating. They have easy to grab breakfast items in the mornings and very yummy pastries!

Phil's is such a hidden gem here in Knoxville! The food is always homemade and delicious. It's like going "back home" and having dinner with the family. Phil and his staff are the absolute kindest, friendly, and helpful. The place is kept clean and the playlist is always the best!

Had no idea this place existed until I had a little bit of spare time in downtown Knox and decided to check out a map for nearby coffee shops. I had a handful to chose from but decided to pop in here for a quick drink. Service was prompt and friendly. I had a honey lavender iced latte and it was delicious. I will definitely return!

Tucked away off of Gay Street in a cute, quiet alley, I was drawn to Cafe Vicolo by the delicious smell of baked goods. As we had just had a big sugary breakfast, we only purchased drinks, but there was a varied (albeit pared down due to COVID) selection of snacks and to-go food items available. What really wow-ed us was the warm and friendly service provided by the owner, Phil. As first-timers he graciously offered us a tempting red velvet cupcake and he answered all of our questions about Knoxville. We can't wait to return to this charming cafe and try one of their sandwiches or treats!
