5/22/25 2pm Really wanted to make this review about our server she was so personable and really made our dining experience... it's not often you get waiters that make your day Calhouns better recognize what they've got she was outstanding (the hostess informed me her name was Dominique)
At 3pm restaurant was not busy but it took over 30 minutes to get our food. Our potatoes were not fresh. Like they were heated in a microwave. Meat tasted dry. Just not the amazing food we are used to receiving from Calhouns

The rest .. meh. Disappointed. Burnt ends very dry. Ribs .. meh. KC liked them. Mac n cheese … meh. I’ve had better.
Good news I didn’t overeat. The banana pudding was great. We remembered it from the last time we traveled thru and ate at Calhoun’s on the River. It’s huge. Big enough to share.
