This was our first time visiting this restaurant…. Oh my gosh this place did NOT disappoint!! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is so inviting. The host was very friendly and just made us feel at home. We were a little early so we went to the bar had a drink and even appetizer of crab stuffed mushrooms (phenomenal). We were seated at our table- Jack was an incredible host! We had oysters Rockefeller, grilled oysters then shared the surf n turf- the most tender filet mignon, scallops and shrimp. We even got a complimentary dessert (which is the only picture i remembered to take) Just a beautiful setting and food is top notch!! Would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be visiting this place again next time we are in the Knoxville area.

Not at all in the same category as its sister restaurants. Quite disappointing. The only thing that was on par was the wedge salad. Very overpriced for the quality. Won’t be back.

Yummy lobster and great husband-wife team waiting on us. Good atmosphere
I've been eating here since I was a teenager. It's better now than ever. It's always been a great place to celebrate with friends and family with the best food offerings. A large or small group you will have the best service. Make sure you try the Crab Cakes. They are delicious!

Absolutely amazing experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional.Nina greeted us with the warmest welcome, Brent helped us one day and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout our meal, on another day Babs went above and beyond with her recommendations — every dish she suggested was spot-on!
The food was flavorful, beautifully presented, and came out quickly. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, and you can tell the team truly cares about creating a memorable experience.
Huge thanks to Babs, Brent, and Nina for making our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend this place — we’ll definitely be back! 🍽️✨

We came for Thanksgiving dinner and it was perfect. My wife had the turkey dinner and I had the salmon. We also had the smoked trout appetizer.
The smoked trout was out of this world. I am a serious food smoker, and it was as good as anything I've done. Presentation was amazing. The toppings were something I would never have thought of, but paired perfectly.
My salmon was perfectly done. I love salmon, cook it all the time, once again I could not have done better.
My wife's turkey was so moist and just seemed to melt in your mouth. Seriously some of the best turkey I've ever tried. The lobster mac and cheese was to die for. Huge chunks of lobster in it. And so much cheese.
The service was great. Everyone was super friendly. They definitely had their A game going.
The restaurant was everything you want from a seafood restaurant. I done think I've had a better meal at one.

Mussels and clams had an odd taste. The blackened rare tuna was not well seared on the outside and actually under seasoned; you would not know it was blackened fish. It actually tasted bland. The baked potato was under cooked as you had to cut into it to fluff it up and butter barely melted. This was our second visit. Our last visit I thought the dish I ordered was sickeningly buttery and I thought maybe I just ordered the wrong thing but now I'm not so sure. The halibut was good. Unique atmosphere but I would say highly overrated. Expectations were high due to the 4.5 star rating. Service was friendly but salad came before appetizers, had to ask for the bread and they were going to bring the appetizer out while we still had our salad. I asked them to wait until we were done with the salad. Will not return.

We always know we will get excellent quality and service at Chesapeake's. It's our go-to for special occasions and family gatherings and our recent meal was no exception. Highly recommend for the best seafood in town!
As usual, the food was excellent. The one complaint that everyone has is that the “music” is way too loud and the genre doesn't really fit.
Chesapeake's mostly plays the part. The atmosphere is classy and the service is typically quite good, but the food is hardly worth the price tag. It's not bad, I just expect more each time I visit. I always walk out thinking that was good, but it wasn't THAT good.
