We have dined here for several years after our Doctor recommended it. We enjoyed our meals, conversation, atmosphere, and everything about Colonel's Cafe. We love it.

We went there to find our new spot to eat. THIS IS NOT IT. The food gave me and my friend food poisoning, throwing it all up within two hours. What a waste of $30 for two people.

First time customer. I was in the mood for some corn beef hash. So I ordered a 2 egg omelette with Swiss cheese and corn beef hash. Very tasty. Also had 4 small pieces of buttered toast and a side of grits. Will definitely be coming back!

Gyro omelet and fried potatoes were really good. Young server not very attentive. Definitely will return to try homemade baklava.

Went with big hopes based upon reviews. Needs a good cleaning, pretty grubby. Our menu items totaled $25 but they were charging .25 upcharge per egg and $1 up charge per meal bc “food is expensive currently”. Neither of these were communicated to us by waitress. They were at the register when you paid. Plus, 3% for using card. Our meal price jumped to $31. First and last visit for this couple.

Fantastic breakfast food! I am a huge Corned Beef Hash snob, and I have to say, Colonel’s unique twist on it is absolutely fantastic! It truly surprised me with how delicious it was. Will definitely be stopping for breakfast any time we are in Knoxville!!

We love their loaded potatoes, omelettes, and for dessert; baklava and ice cream.

Vegetarian options: They had a delicious Greek selection that allows you to pick safe and delicious items

Dietary restrictions: Dairy is common, but avoidable

Parking: Small parking lot shared by other busy businesses

Kid-friendliness: It’s a small cafe setting and appropriate for all ages

Wheelchair accessibility: There is an inner dining area where tables and chairs can be moved for accessibility

I have been here several times and always had the club sandwich. The sandwich is good. No complaints.

I decided to come for breakfast and I regret it. Kid size omelet with average taste. Potatoes were very bland. I ordered a pancake but decided not consume because they don't have butter. They have margarine! There is no way I am putting margarine on pancakes. So, I took the pancake home so I can eat it with butter. Not home yet so I don't know how it tastes. But, how good can a non fresh pancake taste?

Very disappointed at this place. Will never go there again. Ruined the first half of my day.

We were in town for my nieces volleyball game. Wanted to grab something quickly for breakfast before heading to her last day of tornurments. I tried to calling and place a to go order but no one answered so I figured to just drive and place the order. Upon arrival the lady told me 45 minutes wait on to go orders so I figured okay the food seems good I’ll just wait. Keep in mind I ordered a stack of pancakes, sausage biscuit, chicken biscuit and grits. I placed the order at 10:50! I went back in at 11:30 and the order still wasn’t done. I went back in at 11:50 and the order was ready. The total came to $22!!!! For four things! Got in my car and left! Checked the sausage sandwich first and a greasy biscuit on both top and bottom and with a burnt piece of sausage! I opened the eggs and bacon that came with the pancakes and THERE WAS A LONG BLONDE STRAND OF HAIR! Immediately I’m like woooowww I waited an hour for greasy food and pieces of hair…. I say this to say if you want good quality food that won’t be expensive and nasty. Find something else. I threw everything away and felt horrible.

The restaurant itself was amazing. The food was great and the service was good. There was definitely not enough parking though.
