Corner16 is a fantastic restaurant with great food and service. They offer a variety of dishes, including a delicious chicken burger, hot honey chicken sandwich, and smoked potatoes. The outdoor area is huge, with space for kids and dogs to play, plus a playground attached to the dining area. It has a full bar, a large dining room, and TVs for sports fans. The smoked sausage and cheese platter is amazing, with fresh jalapeños and pepper jack cheese, along with a huge helping of pimento cheese. The chicken and dumplings are the best many have had in a long time. Other tasty options include the fried green tomato, BLT, and omelet, with generous portions that often leave leftovers. The menu is great with reasonable prices, and the service is excellent. The background music is at a pleasant volume, allowing conversations to be heard. Handicap parking and wheelchair-accessible tables make it convenient for all guests. While the shrimp special was a bit too spicy for some, the option to switch to a steak filet was appreciated. It's a nice spot to watch a baseball game, and their home brew porter is really good. This place is worth the trip.
