We enjoyed lunch at Corner16. The place is very clean. The food portions are good and the food is tasty. We sat at the bar our server/bartender was great. Good service with a positive attitude makes for exceptional service. The kitchen looked neat and well kept. It was a Monday lunch but I recommend it for a good bite a drink.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. Got seated immediately and that's where service tanked. Ordered a drink and took 20 minutes to receive. Husband ordered the special which apparently they were out, which the server didn't inform us. Had to ask for more water after half the meal empty. My salad had a ton of rotten pieces and the rest of the food was mediocre for the price. The server wouldn't stop touching his hair to fix it every time we looked over, which is just nasty if you are handling food. The table next to us had multiple issues from sweet tea instead of unsweet, one person sent back their food because it was cold, the other lady waited for half the meal until she got the au jus with her sandwich. Guess this is another place to cross off the list.

The brisket sandwich could not be eaten as a sandwich since the brisket was tough and chewy. The beer, fries and chicken tenders were good. Portions were kinda small. I'll try the burger next time.

Beware! They lost the PR battle with me. Management gets 0 stars.
Pros- Good food, good atmosphere for families with kids. Cons- Expect slow service. One Saturday with only about 3 other tables on the patio, it took 2 hours to order, eat, and pay the tab. But if I prepare for that, I can look past it.
The big issue: At the beginning of the summer, I was overcharged by $20 and the error was only recognized after my card had been charged. The waiter and general manager approached me to explain the situation, that their solution was not as simple as canceling the transaction, and offered me a $20 voucher to make it right. I returned at the end of the summer, paid my bill and presented the $20 voucher. My waiter brought out another manager, who stated that the other manager no longer works there and because that manager is the one who had signed the voucher, the current manager would be unable to honor the voucher. I’m not going to split hairs over $20, but I will over the principle of it. Hope my $20 was worth the loss of my business. I won’t be back. There are plenty of options in this town, including other Mike Chase options with better management.

We ordered food from this place twice, brisket, burgers and salads, their brisket is terrible, avoid it anytime, burgers are lest than average, salads isn’t that great, not that fresh you looking for, besides the put bacon in everything assuming that every customer would want that.

Great place to dine outdoors, has activities for the kids, plays great muaic for GenXers, and the food is outstanding! Go on a Sunday and get the Hot Honey chicken sandwich special. You're welcome. Chicken and waffles were great too! We saw them making the waffle batter fresh.
$40 for 2 adults, which is very reasonable for what you get. Extremely clean, well trained servers. The owners know what they're doing. Both locations are awesome but we prefer Northshore.

Our first time back in almost 2 years, food was mediocre at best. The Mac & cheese was cold like it just came out of the fridge. The manager brought it back after microwaving it and said "now it's warm". My husband tasted it and said it was terrible. Chicken and dumplings and brisket were barely luke warm. The entire experience was disappointing considering they were not busy.
