Not sure why this place had some negative reviews. Our experience at this Knoxville location was excellent. I saw complaints about the parking lot being trashy. Not true. As far as the food, we ordered an All-American BBQ feast for 2. A sampling of brisket, ribs and chicken. Also, coleslaw, baked beans, potato wedges, corn on the cob and corn bread. The corn was mediocre, but everything else tasted great! Great service, despite being understaffed (what restaurant isn't these...

I really can't rate the food or value because the service was so bad that we left before we were ever seated. The first person was on the phone and refused to make eye contact or even acknowledge our party. The next person seemed so put out that we had a large party with an open table reservation that she had to ask her manager where to seat us, only to tell us we'd need to wait 30 minutes to be seated. We were 15 mins early, but the restaurant was half empty.

The muffins get 5 stars! BBQ chicken was decent. A little dry from being cooked too long ago... imo. Beans were good. Wifey said cat fish was good. Definitely recommend overall. If in the area again, I'll go back.
