Great Food—authentic Indian street food snacks and amazingly good mango lassis (the best in Knoxville)! Super customer service, too!

GJ 2 Food Truck is absolutely amazing! The food is truly outstanding and the service is super friendly and welcoming. We stopped here during our road trip from Philadelphia to Nashville and decided to pack some food for later. Even after almost 2 hours, when we finally ate it at our motel, the taste was still awesome and fresh.
We tried the dabeli, vada pav, sandwich, and manchurian — every single item was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The dabeli had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, the vada pav was soft and delicious, the sandwich was loaded and satisfying, and the manchurian was simply mouthwatering.
It’s rare to find food that tastes this good even after traveling with it, but this place exceeded expectations. Highly recommend GJ 2 Food Truck to anyone looking for authentic and tasty food with great service! Must Must Must Go.... I highly and heartily recommend. ❤❤

I usually don’t write reviews, but this was honestly ridiculous.
I placed an order through Uber Eats around 11:40 AM because it showed the truck was open and preparing orders. When we got there, the truck wasn’t even there. Completely closed. I even called, and they said they were “open” and already preparing the order… which made zero sense because there was literally nothing there.
I ended up spending about 40 minutes dealing with Uber support to get it sorted.
Fast forward to today—we go back thinking maybe it was just a one-time issue. Instead, we get attitude right away. The staff member immediately brings up the previous order and tells me I need to pay because “they didn’t get paid.”
I’m sorry… how is that my problem? I placed an order through a third-party app, showed up when you said it would be ready, and you weren’t even there. If Uber didn’t pay you, that’s something to take up with Uber—not the customer.
On top of that, the attitude was unnecessary from the start. No accountability, no apology, just straight-up rude.
Food might be okay, but the way they handle customers is not worth it. There are plenty of other spots such as Desii Drive and A-one with better service and less drama.

Worst Indian (Gujarati) food experience I’ve had. We ordered pav bhaji and chole bhature, and both were extremely disappointing—bland, lacking flavor, and just not enjoyable at all. We almost threw the food away.
Maybe their traditional Gujarati dishes are better, but based on what we tried, it felt like a complete waste of time to go out of our way to eat here.
