the lady that took our order at the counter was unfortunately the rudest interaction i’ve had in a while… i don’t know if she’s selective on who she is nice to but wow! the owner was nice but seeing that the owner was there he should help his employees be a little nicer since it puts a bad look on him as well
This was the first restaurant I tried after moving to Knoxville and I feel like I struck gold. Super friendly staff who provided helpful recommendations. Loved all of our tamales, especially the curry tamale…Holy moly :’| Safe to say this is going to be a regular spot.
I dined here with two of my buddies when we walked from our parking spot on Gay Street to the Smokies game. This restaurant is smack dab halfway on that walk, so it was convenient to get good food (that is not stadium dining) before we go to the game. I got the classic and the chicken tinga tamales, all washed down with a Bearded Iris beer. The tamales were generous in size, fresh, and delicious. I like that they have a long table in the middle of the dining area to accommodate...
