Gosh is one of my all-time Knoxville favorites! The first time I ate here, I literally came back 24 hours later. I always get the gosh combo with lamb and it is so flavorful. I always make sure to show my friends this place when they visit and they've only had good things to say. The coffee is great too!

It was calm and chill vibes aesthetic place and the food was great very recommended!!
I highly recommend visiting this little family owned restaurant especially if you've never tried Ethiopian cuisine before.The aroma of the food was incredible as soon as we walked through the door. We had vegetable sambbusa and the combo platter for two and it did not disappoint. Service was fast and friendly and the interior was comfy, clean and welcoming with light jazz playing over the speakers.One thing that I will add is that they might be out of some menu items. This is a small business and they might run out of things. No big deal but it is worth mentioning.I've lived in the neighborhood for way too long without trying Gosh. I will be back to support this fantastic restaurant.

For a native like me I find the food bland. The style of plate serving looks like out of our culture & also the enjera was too little. It was hard to order extra paid enjera portion too. The taste is negligible. As it is, the empty seasoning is tasteless.

Dined in last night for dinner and I'm so glad we gave it a try! The service was quick and the staff were very friendly. We ordered the meat combo for two, and I'd definitely recommend it as it's very cost-effective and you get generous servings. We'd never tried Ethiopian food before, and it was delicious! Will be back!

Great experience. My first time eating this type of food. It was excellent. The spices were good not too strong, just spot on. The server who I believe was the owner was excellent. He explained all the dishes and was very attentive. It was a very relaxing atmosphere as well. The music was set at a level where you could carry on a nice conversation. Definitely going back.

Fluffiest, freshest injera I've ever had in my life. Fantastic, friendly and easygoing service. We got the lamb entree and vegetarian combo- perfect amount of food and the warm, hearty meal we needed on a cold winter day. Will definitely be returning. Gosh deserves all possible accolades.
Exceptional food! This place is our favorite restaurant in Knoxville. The quality is consistent and always so tasty. We get a combination of meat and vegetables / lentils each time. Our favorites are the spicy beef and the yellow split peas. Oh and the baklava! The food here seems expensive to me but is worth the money! We usually get takeout for convenience but the atmosphere is very low key and pleasant in the restaurant as well. The family who owns and runs it is kind and hardworking. 10/10 recommend!
