The chicken is good. Everything else seems like it was served out of a can.

Really good chicken. They have catfish which is not on the menu plus other items. You have to ask.

So I love the chicken here. But I just ordered chicken strips with French fries and my change was 3.17. The cashier only gave me 3.00 which I then placed in the tip container. While she was still looking down she took the money out turned and put it into her pocket. Now I would assume the tips should be shared with the other workers so I didn’t care for that in addition to .17 here and there is still stealing. Really disappointing.

I have been going to this restaurant for about a year and a half now, and it has personally become one of my Top 3 favorite restaurants of all time. This is the place that officially made me a fried chicken fan — and no fried chicken has ever come close to Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken!

My go-to meal is the 3-piece Chicken Tenders with French Fries and Baked Beans, with an added Chicken Breast. Gus’s chicken is the best fried chicken I have ever had. It’s perfectly cooked with an incredible crunch on the outside, while staying moist and juicy on the inside. The spices are absolutely delicious! I’ve been here over 15 times, and the consistency has always been amazing every single visit. The baked beans are also the best I’ve ever had. The French fries are seasoned perfectly with a great crunch while still having a fluffy texture inside.

The service at Gus’s is top tier. Every server treats each table like they’re the most important customers in the building. Special shoutout to Daisy — the last few times I’ve visited, she has been my server, and she remembers me every time. She even knows my order by heart now! She is genuinely one of the nicest and best servers I’ve ever had at any restaurant.

I absolutely love the vibes at Gus’s. I always feel right at home whenever I walk in. The design and menu perfectly match the restaurant’s personality, and the place is always clean with plenty of comfortable seating.

The prices and portions are both an A+ for me. I ordered extra food this time, but you can easily get a fantastic and affordable meal here.

I absolutely love Gus’s, and it will forever be one of my go-to spots before going to a movie. This is some of the best fried chicken you will ever have — if not #1, then easily Top 3 of all time. Bring your family, let Daisy take care of you, and enjoy an incredible meal!

Picked up a to go order today for a friend that is sick. My fault for not checking the boxes. Got all the way home (30 minute drive) to find out the tenders I ordered for me was 2 chicken breast. How hard is it to look at the ticket and make sure the boxes are right. The only special thing I ask was that my order be placed in a separate bag. It's one thing if I am inconvenienced but I hate that I took them the wrong food because you were nit oaying attention.

Some good food!!!! I just wish they gave you more ranch lol. That chicken is on another level.

This chicken is fabulous!

Juicy and crispy, with enough spice to be seasoned and savory without cremating your tastebuds. On the spicy hot I give it a 0.25/5.
Personally I'm loading mine up with Truff hot sauce.

Amazing food and service. One of the cleanest places I have ever eaten in. Their fryer backsplash is scrupulously well scrubbed.

Sage in an amazing waitress. One of our party is gluten free and is is very knowledgeable about all items in the menu.

I had their baked beans and slaw. Being a northerner I was dubious but good lord, they're were the best I had since moving down.

I will be going backs and trying all of the sides!

Visiting Knoxville and heard Gus’s has chicken worth traveling for. Easy to find, loads of parking. Walked in and the place is clean with lots of friendly wait staff. Found a table and my waitress helped me choose tenders. She also suggested getting the mac&cheese (which was a great suggestion). I ordered and food was in front of me in under 5 minutes, hot and looking good.
Chicken was tender and had some spice to it. Not too much at all. Baked beans had plenty of brown sugar and the slaw was very tasty.
All told, very pleasant experience.
