Hard Knox Pizza Hardin Valley

We ordered 2 pizzas and both were cold and crust was like a wet rag honestly. meatballs were distasteful period. the Cesar salad was horrible. We're very disappointed to say the least after high hopes of eating here and getting a real brick oven pizza. We spent $55.00 plus a generous tip. We read the whole story of believed we would be so happy Sad to say we will never return. The place is on Central Avenue. We cannot recommend!

I always have an amazing experience at this restaurant, thanks to the delicious food and the friendly, helpful staff. During our recent visit, I we had a great meal. However, I accidentally left my purse at the table and only realized it once we got home. When I called the restaurant, I was relieved to hear they had found my bag. With our upcoming move, their prompt assistance saved me a tremendous amount of hassle in replacing everything. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness!

The employees are sweet and do great, but apparently they are under new ownership?? New owners seem to be doing what a lot of new owners do and start purging good people. I didn’t like the vibe I observed this weekend while I was in. The new ownership was not kind to the staff. Will NOT be back.

The pizza was about average. We got one with basil and prob counted 4 leaves. Not my style of pizza but it seems other people had been enjoying the food.

Good variety of pizzas to choose from. Cross star handmade. Light and thin. Decent amount of ingredients

Service was good and quick. Should of read the menu better. Paid large specialty pizza prices for a medium to small size pizza. toppings all feel off and crust was pretty burnt in spots. Have had other wood fire pizza that came out less burnt.

First time ordering pizza from this location. I drove out of my way to try the pizza, based on reviews. Average taste. Not much toppings on one of the pizzas I ordered. Expensive for what you get.

Veggie pizza was very good, no 'deep dish' seen on the menu. i hate how the bill is defaulted to a 20% or more tip for nothing but handing me a box.

Recently have been working on Hardin Valley & I've been curious about this place. so SO happy we went today for lunch ?
We all did the lunch special, 8"pie and for an extra $4 dollars salad & a fountain drink. Absolutely can't beat it. Especially being I ate every bit of my food.

Today I got the La Motta [white pie] & Greek salad. yummmmmm. I normally can't eat a ton of pizza but this was the perfect amount. The crust was nice and thin with a great crisp & just the right amount of topping. I cant wait to try more on the menu ?

I had another great “Vitello” this weekend and the Cherry Cider. Such a great location on Central. I love this pizza and cider. 🍺 🍕

The BARBED WIRE is glorious.
Drizzle on that sweet bourbon reduction and take your taste buds to hog heaven.
