First time here and it did not disappoint.Definitely get the hush puppies to start. We split the ribeye with potato puree and brussels as sides. Food was fantatsic.The service and atmosphere was even better. Davin was our server and I couldn't say enough positive things about our experience. Will be back for sure!

The service, atmosphere, and food are exceptional. I highly suggest taking the opportunity to dine at the bar. Although they have a reserved section for "chef's seating", you can see everything from the bar area and the bartender Ken is phenomenal.I have been a total of 3 times so far and tried different dishes each time and have yet to be disappointed. With that said, GET THE PORK OSSO BUCCO. Yes, I did that in all caps on purpose. It's a signature dish and deserves its reputation of deliciousness.Their sommelier, Jason, is incredibly knowledgeable and if you tell him what you're having, he will suggest wonderful wine pairings to accompany and compliment the food to perfection.Last but not least, the desserts are delightful. The olive oil cake is not at all what you might expect and it's definitely worth trying. They also have wonderful chocolate options. One of the things that makes J.C. Holdway a step above is their variations throughout their menu from night to night. This means that you can return again and again and perhaps never even order the same thing twice. It's a culinary experience to be sure and well worth going. You won't regret it.

I have never tasted such flavorful food in my entire life. I didn’t know food COULD be this good. This was my 30th birthday dinner place of choice, and I do not have one complaint. The details with the dated menu and birthday card impressed me. The food impressed me even more. I had the scallion hushpuppies as an appetizer — the sauce that’s paired with them absolutely sealed the deal with my tastebuds. I also had the slow cooked egg gnocchi, which was a classy spin on chicken and dumplings. Based on the description, I was hesitant. But it was highly, HIGHLY recommended by our waitress, so I took a leap. My gosh, I was tilting the bowl and drinking even the very last drops of the broth. I simply cannot wait to come back here and try new things. Thank you, chef!

Best dining experience ever. Everyone was so Welcoming, Engaging and Attentive. Food was BEYOND!!! Ribeye was Perfection and paid perfectly with the shaved beet salad!!! Onion dip with caviar and homemade chips were excellent. Definitely A+++!! ABSOLUTELY WILL BE BACK! Thanks so much!!Parking: Our reservation was at 8PM. So parking was Not An Issue in Market Street Garage.
