Best Thai Food I have had in a very long time. The Basil Fried Pork, which also can be ordered with Chicken or Tofu is one of the top 3 Thai dishes I have ever had. Everything was exceptionally clean. The wait staff is friendly thank you very good explanation of the food. Very reasonable prices for Thai food.

I went here a few weeks ago with my partner and our friend visiting from out of state. I was excited to try this place since I've heard good things, but was left underwhelmed by the food, and in the days following our visit, offended by the staff's behavior.
The food was pretty average, and I’ve had better at other Thai places across TN. The thai tea was very sugary, but I have a sweet tooth so I liked it a lot. The crab rangoons were rather small and didn’t have much filling, and none of my party’s entrees were excellent. My own pad thai (original recipe) was not great compared to other Thai restaurants I've visited, and it's the first time I've ordered pad thai and disliked it. All three of us agree that we’ve had better elsewhere. If that was all, I’d have rated this place around 3 stars since the food and service left more to be desired, but the way in which whoever runs the Jai Dee Google account responds to customers sharing their honest opinion is just embarrassing. They've slandered and ridiculed my friend and others to the point where I feel like I have to speak up myself, even though I usually don't write Google reviews.
I would advise any potential customers to read the staff’s response to negative reviews. They are extremely unprofessional and combative, almost never take accountability for food quality issues, lie to customers about the use of AI in promotional materials, and love to throw baseless accusations at customers to distract from their own shortcomings. My friend who dined with me who is an experienced Google reviewer left a very fair review (initially 3 stars) that included a balance of praise and criticism, and they received an extremely hostile reply from the staff, accusing us of never visiting their establishment and posting a false review on behalf of a competing business. This is an embarrassing way to treat your customers, and it’s particularly laughable since my friend is clearly a legitimate reviewer with 80+ other Google reviews across various states and cities. After my friend updated their review with a screenshot of the check to prove that we did indeed give this place our money and we're not enemy spies or whatever, Jai Dee edited their reply to slander my friend even further, claiming that they're a racist bully who discriminates against Asian restaurants. Yes, that is actually what they said to a paying customer. This is demonstrably untrue given my friend's review history that contains many highly rated reviews for other Asian restaurants around the country, not to mention the fact that they literally have Thai family. Accusing customers of racism just because they didn't like your food or your rude replies is horribly unprofessional.
It’s not just us, many other reviewers who rate 3 stars or lower have also received similar replies. According to the owners of this business, anyone who doesn’t like the food or their attitude must be a sockpuppet account from another restaurant, a thief, or racist. In their eyes, the problem is always with the customer. It's not bad food, it's just the customer's fault they didn't like it. It’s ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and find another local restaurant to support. I myself work at a small business in Knoxville (not a restaurant btw, so I am in no way a competitor) and I could never in my life imagine myself or my boss responding to customers this way. Whoever runs Jai Dee, PLEASE get yourself a PR/Social media manager. If you have one, you should probably fire them, since you guys are making absolute fools of yourselves in these comments and actively insulting customers that would've otherwise been happy to return.

I was waiting on a table for about ten minutes. The host took the people to a booth that came in after me and completely ignored me waiting on a table. The food is great but they need to work on their service.
Never had a bad dish! I lived in Thailand for a year and think this is the most authentic Thai Food in Knoxville. Try the Crispy Pork Jai Dee Fried Rice, Basil Crispy Pork, or Drunken Noodles. We love the option of the combo meals for lunch too.

update ya know before i just left one star without saying anything… and i was immediately accused of stealing food lol i ordered door dash and it got delivered it was the worst curry and now im accused of stealing when i paid $$ for some nasty food that says alot of about the owner right there
