“First time eating there. Read Grubhub article in paper. He was wrong in his rating, it's a 5! For anyone really serious about Korean/Japanese fine cooking KOKO is a must. It has been said that we eat with our eyes too. Dishes were finely presented and they tasted as good as they looked. Dishes are light and complex without being fussy. I believe they have set the bar for Asian cuisine in Knoxville.“

One of our favorite sushi rolls here is the Super Dynamite Roll.

For appetizers, Crab Rangoons are to die for. So delicious! I love the crispy outer and the creamy crab filling inside. The sweet dipping sauce balances all the flavors and every time we eat these rangoons, we are tempted to order another round.

Parking: This location I’m in Market Square, downtown so it’s surrounded by plenty parking garages and street parking. Depending on what day and time of day you come, parking may be free.“

“I’ve drove past this place so many times and have always wanted to try it but was very hesitant about a fast food hibachi.. I’m a huge fan of wasabi and always go there.. but let me tell you we finally decided to give it a try and thank god we did!! Place has everything you need and more whenever you’re wanting hibachi!! Crab Rangoon’s are different but are definitely a must!!! The spring rolls are awesome!! The hibachi honestly has better taste than wasabi.. and the yum yum sauce is also very good!! The only thing that was ok was the miso soup.. a little strong for my liking but still killed the bowl! The young lady was very helpful and friendly! Will definitely be my new spot!!“

The servers are always friendly and have an uncanny ability to remember your order from one visit to the next. The food is consistent and delicious. I highly recommend.“

“I was passing through on a road trip and the group mentioned hibachi so we found Ichiban. I was pleased with it. A small restaurant with a friendly server. It took about an hour for the four of us to get back on the road, so it wasn't particularly quick but overall a good experience.

“Some of the best hibachi that I have had in Knoxville!! Bubble tea is also delicious. They give a large portion of food which is also great. The couple that run the restaurant are so sweet. Small family-owned vibes. My partner also got the katsu curry and he loved it. We highly recommend!!“
