I enjoy taking myself on a date here or going with loved ones. Staff are always friendly. I often get a matcha, delish. Food is delish (I recommend the Japanese curry for lunch). I like when they’re playing an anime I enjoy. Also you can get a pint of the ube ice cream, and it’s expensive for a pint but it is crafted by them and it can be a really nice gift for those who like ube. Was expecting light bites, given their name (sips and bites), but everything was very heavy. We got kimbap, it was heavily sauced and too large to fit in one bite. Also, the ube latte is not a latte, there’s no coffee in it, and they put a huge dollop of matcha stuff on top (the ‘cream’ we realized). If you like fusion places, you’ll like Koko, but if you were looking for sushi or similar (kimbap), try elsewhere.
Just had lunch there. The flavors of everything was amazing. Our server did an excellent job, both in serving and in recommendations.
We spoke to the owner afterwards and he seems like a very nice man.
Highly recommend the restaurant. Already looking forward to the next visit.
